COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional Marzen brewed with 2-Row Pale, Caramel, and Munich malts. The malts give it a hearty character and deep amber color. Tettnanger and Perle hops provide a well-balanced, drinkable finish prefect for Fall celebrations.

This bottled brew from Indianapolis for $1.09 poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized mostly diminishing bubbles that left behind a transparent softly carbonated golden brown colored body. Its aroma was mild with malty doughy notes. The mouth feel was tingly from start to finish with a mild caramel malt aftertaste. The flavor contained mild malty doughy notes with a slight hint of caramel.

tried in bottle, decent taste, again the carbonation almost too much, makes it hard to take down...caramel malt a good call here, but could have been worked with to make a more pleasing brew

Bottle. Small off-white fizzy head that mostly diminished, minimal lacing, carbonated, transparent, and an orange hue. Sweet malty, caramel and hoppy nose and ditto for the flavor. Has a clean finish. Tingly palate. Light body.

Pours an orangish amber color. Aroma is basically of sweet malts. Flavor follows, but introduces a mild honey aspect. Pretty thin all the way around... nothing to like or hate to much here.

Smells like dirt and figs. Looks like scotch with zero head. Flavor is sweet with maybe a little bit of a bitterness. This beer is kind of gross and I’m glad I only bought a single of it. Alas, I figured it out. This beer smells exactly like your dog when you give it a bath.

The fruity aroma of this beer must be pulled out of the glass. This is an orangish solution that is some where between rust and pumpkin pie in color that produces a fast dissolving white head. This beer is thin and a very mild sweet yet bitter nut taste with no lingering capabilities.

The head was spare and did not have a great appearance. Not a bad beer, since there was no after taste.

Nice malty taste with a hint of honey. Not much aftertaste, slightly astringent.

UPDATED: OCT 14, 2006 Tap @ Big Beer Lodge. Dark golden copper, only ring of film for head. Muted aroma of sweet malt and breadiness. Certain fruitiness showing up in the background, maybe peach? Flavor is all sweet malt, toated nuts/grain, again with some fruit I can’t pinpoint. Palate is cleansed fairly well with a spicy hop fininsh smooth clean finish. Very clean/crisp drink. Creamy smooth body/mouthfeel. Overaall just average.
