Poured into a tulip glass. Fairly light amber color, finger of head that was quickly gone to nothing.
Smells like wet hay that did not quite make it into the barn before the rain and was then left out in the sun for a couple days. I am familiar with the smell but not from my beer.
Kind of tastes like a adjunct lager with an extra dash of barley. So if this was an adjunct lager it would have incredible flavor... but it is not. It is lacking in the maltiness of a Marzen.
It has a light body and is very carbonated.
Overall a poor attempt of the great Marzen style. Drink it if you want a more flavorful adjunct lager with a high level of carbonation.

Drank from a twelve ounce bottle, thank you Katrina. It’s been a couple of years since I’ve had Leinenkugel’s Oktoberfest. Aroma leaves something more to be desired. Taste is a good, solid oktoberfest! Decent brew.

Bottle at San Juan. Clear copper color, small beige head. Light bready aroma. Light-bodied. Watery palate. Light bread and caramel in the flavor. Very easy Märzen. Low bitterness too.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a 12 oz bottle in a pint glass.
Aroma- Has a sweet smell mixed in with the grain.
Appearance- this is an amber colored beer with a moderate white head.
Taste- Grain and malt, not bad but sort of run-of-the-mill.
Palate- Light bodied brew with moderate carbonation. Has a dry mouth feel.
Overall- This is pretty good, not the best Leinnie’s has produced but not bad.

12 oz bottle. Not much of a party in here. Plain vanilla all around. Rather unremarkable.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
While it is a rather light tasting beer and not close to one of the better Oktoberfest beers, it does have a nice malt forward flavor and a bit of sweetness. Easy drinking but nothing special.

Aroma is a very sweet malt. Taste follows exactly the same. Overall too unbalanced with the sweetness.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours lighter gold/tan than expected for the style. Aroma is slightly off, a mix of some malt and a little skunky. I’d think I got a bad batch if other reviews weren’t also quite low. Taste is boring, feel is overcarbonated.

A solid base hit. Pours a nice copper with a lingering off white head. Aromas of: caramel, grass, and dough. Fairly balanced flavor profile with a nod to the sour. Nice palate with a little stickiness. Sessionable.
