COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional Marzen brewed with 2-Row Pale, Caramel, and Munich malts. The malts give it a hearty character and deep amber color. Tettnanger and Perle hops provide a well-balanced, drinkable finish prefect for Fall celebrations.

Nice orange body with a white head, that fades quick. Aroma is slightly copper/metallic with hints of caramel. Taste is a typical Marzen, carmale hops with a nice sweet balance. Not bad.

12oz bottle. Overall, pretty similar to Paulaner Märzen. I like it! Pours a clear amber color, modest head. Great aroma, a little bit of bread, typical of the style. Good mouthfeel, medium-light body. I’m probably over-rating this a bit, but I’m very partial to the style.

Poured a clear amber color with a decent light head. Scent was mostly that of malts and wheat, but much more dry and crisp smelling than those used in summer beers. Has a crisp and clean taste to it. Malts, wheat, and spices were decently mixed together. However it was fairly watery, especially when I’ve drank probably 15 other Oktoberfest beers. It was a good drink and went down fast but yeah it was too watery and the taste was about average. I know this stuff sells great in Wisconsin but even I’ll admit that there are far better tasting Oktoberfest beers our there.

LIght orangish pour with mild head. Very sweet aroma with some maltiness. Medium carbonation. Very easy to drink beer. You can easily drink several of these with not too much trouble. Good entry for new craft drinker.

Tap. Dark amber pour with a nice head that left a nice lacing. Chocolate, caramel. medium to light body with a thin but slight bitter finish. Initial impression in the mouth is good but the body is a bit too thin.

Bottle poured on pint glass; dark orange color with small white head. Refreshing Marlene style beer sweet caramel tones perhaps a bit watery. Not a bad beer overall, but nothing particularly great, great to have in the fridge...

Had this on tap at my favorite wing place. Darkish amber color with a fairly fluffy white head. Scent was sweet and malty, nice caramel notes throughout. Flavor is quite sweet, some caramel, nuttiness at first, almost a sliver of chocolate in there. Very mild bitterness finishes it off. Semi-creamy. I wasn’t sure what to expect from Leinenkugel’s Marzen, but I was pleasantly surprised. A tasty brew; I’ll look it up when it comes around next year.

An underwhelming oktoberfest, even when compared to other American craft brewers. Considering its wateriness, the sweetness of this beer seems a bit unbalanced.
