Hazy amber orange with strong orange citrus oil smell. Wheat beer with orange juice is my first impression. Not bad but not great either.

9/8/13. 12oz bottle from Exit 18. Strong orange oil aroma, reminds a touch of Sunset Wheat. Big orange flavor, orange oil, peel, Jell-O, etc. Meh.

12 oz can. Smells like orange candy. I want to say artificial orange, but who knows? I also get the wheat. Pours cloudy orange with a long-sustaining creamy white head; leaves some lace. Taste is sweet and sour, finishing dry. Really orangey and wheaty in flavor. Mouthfeel creamy, body thin. It’s nothing terrible, but not much substance here.

This pours a cloudy, yellow/orange color with a slight, white head. The aroma has wheat mixed with orange zest. The flavor is pretty much what you would expect, an orange version of Summer Shandy. The texture is a little too thin and the flavor doesn’t exactly wow me either. I do like oranges more than lemons though if I had to choose. However Buffalo Bill’s Orange Cream is still a better option if they still have it in your area.

Bottle. Orange gold in color. Some head. More oj than beer in flavor. Aroma was also on. Just ok.

This is a very smooth, pleasant tasting beer - it is much better than the Lemon Shandy by far and much better than the Summer Shandy. It is tangy and sweet. I can taste quite a few different flavors - and it tastes much like the orange juice when you juice it with the peel, so you can taste both the juice and the peel. But, there is some sourness to it so I didn’t rate it higher.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2013 4 oz draft 9/1/13 (Copper Blues-PHX) Pours orange with small white head. Aroma of orange. Taste of tang like previous rater had stated. This light bodied brew was pretty boring.

Tastes like Tang mixed in beer. Leinenkugel is such a good brewery. I don’t understand why they would put their name on such crap. Yuck!

This beer is all that it says it is: Orange Shandy. What else is there for this brew? Enjoy!

Bottled, as part of the autumn sampler pack. Pours a very hazy, disturbingly anemic whitish orange with a very small white head. Straight orange soda aroma with a bit of malt at the tail end. Sweet orange flavor with some sour lemon peel and bitter orange pith, a bit reminiscent of an orange creamsicle. A few sour grains in the finish. Not terrible, quite refreshing actually, and without any overpowering adjuncty corn that seems so prevalent in Leinenkugel offerings. Odd to find this in their autumn sampler, though.
