This is a very smooth, pleasant tasting beer - it is much better than the Lemon Shandy by far and much better than the Summer Shandy. It is tangy and sweet. I can taste quite a few different flavors - and it tastes much like the orange juice when you juice it with the peel, so you can taste both the juice and the peel. But, there is some sourness to it so I didn’t rate it higher.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2013 4 oz draft 9/1/13 (Copper Blues-PHX) Pours orange with small white head. Aroma of orange. Taste of tang like previous rater had stated. This light bodied brew was pretty boring.

Tastes like Tang mixed in beer. Leinenkugel is such a good brewery. I don’t understand why they would put their name on such crap. Yuck!

This beer is all that it says it is: Orange Shandy. What else is there for this brew? Enjoy!

Bottled, as part of the autumn sampler pack. Pours a very hazy, disturbingly anemic whitish orange with a very small white head. Straight orange soda aroma with a bit of malt at the tail end. Sweet orange flavor with some sour lemon peel and bitter orange pith, a bit reminiscent of an orange creamsicle. A few sour grains in the finish. Not terrible, quite refreshing actually, and without any overpowering adjuncty corn that seems so prevalent in Leinenkugel offerings. Odd to find this in their autumn sampler, though.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with a thin fizzy head. Poor head retention. Aroma of tart orange with a sweet finish, reminiscent of Dreamsicles. The taste is dry orange and pale malts. Medium bodied and a bit muddled. It’s not horrible.

Geri came by with a draft sample of this at GTMW 2013 while we were in line for Three Floyds. Thanks, Geri! A definite change of pace at this fest. Cloudy orange with a small white head. Like the other fruity Leiny’s stuff, this one tasted like Fruity Pebbles to me. Orange zest, too. Light-bodied, with a sweet, sugary, fruity mouthfeel. Better than Lemon.

Pour from a 12oz bottle. Cloudy pale orange brew -looks liek a light beer with half an orange creamsicle dissolved in it. Interesting looking, though. Weak orange soda aroma. Taste is weak orange flavor, neutral malt Zima taste. LIght and refreshing but with a creamy sweetness and nice palate. Again - creamsicle dissolved in light beer. A pleasant beverage.

Can (traded with Patrickctenchi for a Pliny the Elder). Orange soda and light barley malt aroma. Cloudy orange-yellow with large head. Slightly sweet orange juice, orange peel, and barley malt flavor. Not bad. Good thirst quencher.
