2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 snakeoilpete (324) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 26, 2009
UPDATED: MAR 6, 2009 Can on a plane. Pours clear reddish amber with a decent off-white head. Mostly sweet bready malts in the nose, with a hint of fruity hops. Same with the taste, a little more caramel, hardly any hop presence. Mouthfeel is OK, finish is sweet and pretty weak but lingers a little longer than I expected.

clear reddish, copper color, small white head quickly reduces to bubbles, some lacing. node is much too mild with traces of malt, maybe honey. flavor has sweet malty notes, but not much else else. medium bodied, smooth finish. fairly uninteresting and way too one dimensional, and i still have 5 bottles remaining from a sampler case purchased @ sam’s club in matteson.
