Deep amber/red color with a medium head. Caramel and spice notes galore. Has a somewhat nutty aroma. Not bitter at all.

This was my first red beer i ever tried and at the time i thought it was awesome. Having said that, now that I have tried many more beers and my taste for beer has become a little more... stronger, I have come to realize that this beer is just another typical American red beer. But it is still a good beer for the price and I will always choose it on tap over the big macro brews.

12 oz bottle thanks to 17thfloor. Pours amber with a small white froth. Aroma is malty, sweet bready, somewhat metallic, grainy. Flavor starts sweet and caramel, a bit bready with more of a toffee and honey note. Light to medium body and a crisp carbonation. Not super great, no

Sweet aroma with the least hints of alcohol I’ve encountered in a beer. Cloudy reddish color. The head was thin to begin with and dissipated very quickly. There was excellent balance in the taste, but the taste itself is the least powerful I’ve ever tasted in a beer. It strikes me as a beer you’d give someone who’d never had beer before as a way to ease them in. It’s watery and has low carbonation.

Draft at Thurman Cafe with a monster burger. Honestly it was the only thing on the tap list I had not tried. It was better than average with some nice malt notes and just enough bitterness. Pleasant.

Pours a reddish copper with a good long-lasting head and mild lacing. Taste is mildly bitter caramel malt that carries through a lightly carbonated finish. Big mouthfeel, but just a one-note brew.

bottle. Poured clear deep copper with a thick beige head. Sweet malty aroma. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. Roasty malt flavour, honey sweetness, slightly metallic dry finish.

Bottle: Found some old notes that I had tasted these in the States many years ago. To be honest I can’t remember that much of these beers, but next to the beers name I wrote a little bit of info. So these notes are for me, to ensure and complete my list and to use this database as mine too. If you want to consider this as a tick, do so. It is for my own record, that I know I had tasted it once. Taste is ok and nice bitter.
