UPDATED: MAR 16, 2008 12 ounce bottle- Poured dark AMber with a moderate head that disipated quickly. Had a thick, crisp taste with no bite. Toasty. Very enjoyable.

Typical lager. Not much aroma, appearance isn’t bad though. Initial flavor is not bad, but the finish is a bit soapy. Overall an alright beer, but nothing special.

Along with the Creamy Dark one of Leinenkugels best beers. A very average taste, but a nice color and very smooth finish.

Bottled. Light ale aroma. Good deal of carbonation and beautiful red clay colored body. Slight malt, slight hop body giving it very little overall flavor. Nice to mix with the other beers as Leinenkugel suggests but not worth it alone.

pours a dark copper orange with a 11/2 finger fluffy off white head. aroma is toasted malt and some hops. has a light to medium body with ok lacing and descent carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma but a bit stronger. its ok.

I love the way red lagers look and this is no exception. Other than the awesome appearance, it just didnt intrigue my other senses. Not much aroma and the flavor was bland.

I thought this was a pretty decent brew personally despite many of the negative reviews. Very nice malty flavor with a touch of hops. The taste was very balanced. Smooth and refreshing finish to it. Not the best red ive had but certainly worth trying.

a middle of the road beer i can take it or leave it nice color of reddish brown very smooth over all. could expect more from this brewer. but nothing wants to make me come back
