One of the better reds. Has a good smooth flavour. A nice texture and aroma.

Served out of a can on a Northwest Airlines flight. Pours an amber with minimal head. A virutally non-existent nose. Taste seemed to have a somewhat apple tone and I felt there was a thick syrupy finish that stays on the mouth. It’s easily drinkable and certainly is a good session beer with a smooth mouthfeel - though I wouldn’t pine for the day to be seeing it in the store for me to buy.

I drink lots of this stuff up at my lake house in Hayward, WI. Great for cooling off on the water. Pretty simple brew, light copper red color and a small beige lacy head. Typical caramel, molasses and touch of hops. Goes down smooth each sip. Nothing to be ecstatic about, but refreshing. My favorite of the Leinie selection.

Bottle. Deep copper/brown, with a creamy tan head. Rich malt aroma. While the body is medium, it’s lighter than the color would indicate. A bit sweet, with short sweet finish.

Plastic cup at the MN State Fair. Pours an attractive mahogany with a small creamy head. Roasted malt and caramel on the nose. Pretty much the same for flavor. Needs a bit more hops. Medium bodied. One of the better Leinie offerings.

At first the beer was not bad. As I began to take further drinks a could hardly swallow. My throat felt numb. I could not finish the beer. Reminded me when I drank a Zima a decade ago, BAD!!!
