Faint sweet hoppy aroma. Light on the palate. Not a bad lager but not a standout. Barely any lacing.

This beer is really pretty decent, but still nothing much to it. I like some more complexity.

Tried this at a festival yesterday. Pours a very dark red with a small almost non existant head. Scent is that of hops and sweet malts with a touch of bread. Taste at first put me off a bit, like a mix between a warm canned beer and putting a couple pennies under my tounge. As with most beers however the 2nd and 3rd went down much easier, not bad overall but kind of a let down for me when it comes to Linenkugel’s, as they usually brew quality great tasting beer.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 StefanSD (1542) - Lakeside, California, USA - AUG 13, 2011
Bottle courtesy of Noel. Pours a beautiful red-amber color with a small off-white head. The aroma is mild and indistinct with some sweet grains. The taste is similar; mild grains with a little bit of molasses on the back end. Palate is thin and dissapointing. Finishes short and dry. Overall: meh, they could do better.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 dionysus (1257) - Arizona, USA - AUG 6, 2011
Bottle pours red-amber with a khaki head. Aroma shows plenty of caramel, but that’s about it. Flavor is basically the same with light notes of bread and earth. I had higher hopes for this one, but not a whole
lot going on.

12oz Bottle. Reddish brown in color with very little head. Sweet malt and cardboard aroma. Thin body, light bitterness. Flavor is malty sweet, faint hops. Washes down wings well.

Pours a dark red color with an off-white head. Aroma of bread and hops with some sweet malts. Not much flavor. Hop bite at the end with some bread and caramel upfront.

Aroma: bready, slightly floral or woody. Appearance: red, slightly cloudy. Taste: lightly sweet, malty. Palate: light to medium body, fizzy with a dry finish. Overall: drinkable, good for slightly more expensive beer than the macros.
