3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Beerdedone (2188) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 1, 2006
Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma of sweet malts and hops. The flavor is sweet malts and mildly bitter. Good beer.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Hawksfan17 (890) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 31, 2006
When I ordered this I thought it was an amber, but found out it wasn’t after tasting it. It pours a deep amber with a white head. It is vey hoppy and has a cold metallic bubbly smooth finish. It is pretty much like Killians.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 henryalvz (32) - Tampa, Florida, USA - OCT 31, 2006
Amber brown color. Foamy head with little roasted malt flavor. Not bad flavor for a lager. Has some biterness. Not bad easy drinking beer, but for 7.99 a six, I’ll stay with Killians.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 theisti (2371) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - OCT 25, 2006
Nice full amber red color. Big fluffy head that takes awhile to dissapate. Other than appearnace, nothing stands out about this beer.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 limalimamoli (52) - Oceanside, California, USA - OCT 13, 2006
Fair amounts of hops for a miiler brew. no roast aroma or flavor some malts and red but not real dark. Real carbonated but not a good example of an american dark lager. But a godd drinking beer never the less
2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 aarossell (151) - Grandville, Michigan, USA - OCT 3, 2006
Great little lager. A bit bitter, too carbonated. serve warmer than expected.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 beachbum25 (1033) - Powellville, Maryland, USA - SEP 23, 2006
12 oz bottle-Pours a clear amber color w/a huge off white head. Lots of lacing which lasted thru the glass. Has a decent roasted aroma. Sweet, malty, crisp, clean, bready/doughy, nondescript amber flavor. Kind of thin, metalic aftertaste. Nothing wrong with it, nothing special about it. Tastes like a watered down Yuengling. Plenty of better stuff out there.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 zombywoof (418) - Shawnee, Kansas, USA - SEP 17, 2006
Sweet aroma, moderately sweet malt flavor with biscuit/bread notes- kinda like Killians Red but smoother palate. For cheap football beer Leinenkugel’s is a winner. Aaaahhh!!!! I just saw Dick Vermeil shilling for Coors Light!
