Bottle. Pours copper with an off white head. Malty and grainy aroma with some light sweetness. The flavor has a light malty sweetness, grain, straw, and a medium bitterness. Not bad.

This is a really bad, red beer that causes acidity to the stomach after drinking it. It is sour with a rough palatte and somewhat astringent. This is a bad beer overall and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Ruby red and a big head. I enjoyed how smooth it was. As is everything from Leinenkugels.

Reviewed from notes.
Poured into a pint glass. Color is a darker ruby color with an off-white head. The nose is some bready malt with a bit of caramel and light sweetness. The taste is definitely characteristic of some amber malt with a bit of dryness and some slight earth. Feel is a bit sweet yet still slightly dry. Pretty decent drinkability overall, but not something I’d really come back to.

Pours a light red color and minimal head on top. Not much of a scent or taste, seemed quite watered down.

Bottle. Pours a lush amber body with an off white pillow y head. Soft body, thin and very upfront. Malty body with a mild sweet caramel flavor, light bread, and of course a touch of metallic tin. Grainy and slightly husk y sweetness, a hint of paper. Just not very good.
2.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Onionkid (224) - Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA - MAR 31, 2011
Bottle. Weak aroma. Tastes just like a Killian’s Irish Red, more watery though. Pours nice with a solid beige head, but the taste isn’t anything special. In line with most Leinenkugels...not terrible but below average for sure. Pick up a different red lager if you’re going for that style. 4.9% alcohol.
