liberties were taken in describing this beer as ’red’, it’s squarely in the orange camp. that’s entirely academic, because even if it was neon bloody crimson, it would still flounder in most of the pertinent realms of assessment. a head of whipped sesame froth has some attractiveness, but that won’t pay the bills. nose is cardboard box and slo-poke caramel bar; but worse: has just a sullied tinge of an earthy note that one associates with a hardworking person just prior to a much needed shower. or perhaps his socks. flavor is non-committal around the subject of either maltiness or hops, stutters something unconvincing about vanilla flavored diet water. moderate carbonation yields to open water. small craft advisory.

Low ratings because I’m a bit pissed today that this is rated higher than the dirty bastard scotch ale... there’s not much here at all. I say it’s slightly worse than killians... typical american "red" beer; slightly creamy, more hoppy than anything else going on... slight malt, decent dry finish... appearance is nice, but I can buy food coloring anywhere... oh well, nothing spectacular here.

Why do you not understand? THIS BEER IS SHIT!

Clear amber with a light vanilla colored head. Light vegetable/pumpkin aroma. Very mild malt with a sweeter finish that seems a bit unclean. Nothing really objectionable, just not a lot there.

Looks like a beer, smells almost like a beer but is one of those near-beers halfway between macros and real beer. Not enough body, flavor and no hop definition.

Not a bad looking beer, dark brown with a creamy white head. The aroma is malt, a lot of sediment floating in this one. The initial sip is watery on the tongue with overwhelming flavor of sweet malt. Not a very good beer, but at least now I’ve had a beer from Wisconsin.

A smidge better than drinking Killian’s, but red beer sux.

Just ’slightly’ better than average. I wish U.S. and Irish red beer would just go away.

Nothing stands out about it, but nothing kills it either. Middle of the road brew, better than most but not great. I seem to be getting a lot of these beers recently.

Very middle-of-the-road. Didn’t taste that much like a red to me, more like a weak lager, but it is certainly better than Killians.
