This beer is disgusting, huge bite to it. I felt like i was drinking milwaukee’s best light. How can they charge so much for this garbage?

Like their original lager, a nice everyday beer. Nothing too fancy, but not a letdown.

Not unlike Killian’s Red (in a good way), but just a touch hoppier and crisper. Very drinkable, but still has some character.

VENOM (941) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 8, 2001
Nice creamy head but otherwise a very thin and flavorless brew with hints of malt sweetness and a mild hop bite. Nice looking, but that’s it.

Thin and too tangy; generally unpleasant. If drinking Leinenkugel, I’ll stick to the original.

JMerritt (1602) - Macomb, Illinois, USA - JUL 2, 2001
Nice red/auburn color with a thick, creamy head. However, the aroma was too light-beery for me, and the initial palate had a strange bitterness to it I can’t explain. Still, a decent beer.
