3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 GemalzteGerste (33) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 28, 2010
Bottle. Aroma - Malty. Hints of caramel and grass. Appearance - A nice deep red. Taste - A decent caramel malt followed by a slight bittering hoppiness. Pleasant, but nothing mind blowing. Palate - Mouthfeel is a bit thin and overly carbonated, but overall nothing objectionable. Overall - An alright amber from Leinenkugel’s. This isn’t a bad beer, but nothing to go out of your way for, but when you live in Wisconsin you never do have to go out of your way for it.

Red-amber. A decent lager. Fairly robust lager, caramel aroma. Mouthfeel is a little thin, but overall one of Leinies more solid contributions.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 matthewjk (493) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 1, 2010
12oz bottle - Nice looking amber color yields to unimpressive and watered down red. Certainly not the worst Vienna attempt out there. Not bad for a session.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 DuffMan (4242) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 25, 2010
On tap at Soldier Field, Chicago. GO BEARS! Dark copper, medium almond head. As I found with the Octoberfest, there was a low aroma of grains, caramel, and sulphur. Grainy palate with a little caramel sweetness, some metal in the finish. I had a hard time differentiating the Octoberfest from Red. As I stated before, if your here for an awesome day of football, go for the Goose Island offerings at the stadium.
1.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 Bierkrug (1643) - Idar-Oberstein (In Senegal), Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - OCT 19, 2010
330 ml bottle in Germany. Amber coppery color. Off white lingering head. Buttery candy aroma with malt. Tastes like the metal pipes it came from. Drinkable but not by much. I guess it is ok for its type but really don’t know. Has a fake taste to it. Not good.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 rubbishystuff (1202) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 19, 2010
Not bad, but can be a bit watery. More interesting than some paler lager. Serving: Tap

This was the best option for a bowling league I was in. I didn’t think much of the beer from there. Bottles was OK though.
