1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 VAAC (85) - Middlebury, Indiana, USA - JUN 3, 2010
Amber red, beautiful.
Generic malty aroma.
Tastes like generic ale. Same with palate.
I fear the only unique trait this has is it’s beautiful color.

Straight from a bottle at a restaraunt in Munising, MI. Aroma was light and malty. Taste matched the aroma some with a slightly bitter intro with nice malt mid-section. The finish was a mild to moderate hoppiness. Overall, not a bad offering.

It’s alright. Just what you would expect from an American Lager, refreshing, cool, a bit spicy. Summertime beer, you know?

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 tmoreau (1269) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - MAR 9, 2010
12 oz. bottle poured to a 1/2 pint glass. The color was a deep orangy amber that was fairly clear except for a small amount of particulates floating around and gradually destined for the bottom. The head had a light tinge of orange to the bubbly, off white foam, and left some light ribbons and spots of lacing. The aroma was a little toasty, with hints of sweet bread, caramel, and German malt. The flavor added some mild hop bitterness, lively carbonation, and a light dryness to the finish. A likeable and sessionable fest beer that I’ve had more times in plastic than in glass.
