4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
One of my favorites, from one of my favorite breweries. A perfect brew for a nice crisp fall day in Wisconsin. Gotta love a red head.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Freebie from Aunt Linda’s fridge. Aroma: Lean caramel that tends toward bread; butterscotch is moderate and a bit obtrusive. Appearance: Red copper body with a foamy bone head that settles into a skin. Flavor: Lean caramel with metallic touches up front; butterscotch and more bread toward the finish. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: A fairly flawed, rather boring beer. Wouldn’t want to drink this again.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
i gave this one time, but it just didn’t do anything for me. tasted like the better/not super offensive macros, really, just looked a little nicer. almost no nose (light malts) and the only flavor past a touch of sweet malt was a rather unpleasant bitterness on the finish. not at all impressed."

Far better than I remembered. Smooth and goes down like water. Downside is that it’s pretty watery.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A decent red/amber lager that sticks to the basic malt profile with slight hops flavor. Crisp and easy drinker. Boring compared to most "craft" brews but better than any plain yellow or watered down international-conglomerate made American Lager.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tap. Pours brown with orange hues, off-white head. Aroma is very malty, bread, citrus. Taste is dirty, nutty. It is not very good. Stay away.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a dark coppery color topped with a decent tan colored head.
There is a mild malty aroma complemented by some caramel notes.
The taste is mild and malty, slight sweetness with biscuity notes. An unpleasant metallic feel in the aftertaste ruins the great experience.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a nice darker amber color with almost tan head. Caramel malt, pine, and some bitter notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a bitter hop note.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a reddish copper with an off-white head. This is a great session, summer beer. A good rendition of a Vienna lager. One of the better Leinie varieties.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: DEC 3, 2014 Bottle: It’s... sort of red. But more copper. Just some red hints, moderately hazy with a foamy, eggshell head on top. Aroma is faint but has mild notes of crystal & light caramel malt sweetness, faint grain, a little DMS & lightly toasted bread/biscuit. Taste is a little sweet, somewhat malty with some mild toasty biscuit, & slight toffee. Hint of stale hops, light skunk & DMS in the finish with a small, bitter bite. A very "neutral" beer. It’s okay, not much going on... a very tame red lager (a style which is already quite timid sometimes), nothing more & nothing less.
