One of my favorites, from one of my favorite breweries. A perfect brew for a nice crisp fall day in Wisconsin. Gotta love a red head.

Pours a dark coppery color topped with a decent tan colored head. There is a mild malty aroma complemented by some caramel notes. The taste is mild and malty, slight sweetness with biscuity notes. An unpleasant metallic feel in the aftertaste ruins the great experience.

Pours a nice darker amber color with almost tan head. Caramel malt, pine, and some bitter notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a bitter hop note.

Pours a reddish copper with an off-white head. This is a great session, summer beer. A good rendition of a Vienna lager. One of the better Leinie varieties. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: It’s... sort of red. But more copper. Just some red hints, moderately hazy with a foamy, eggshell head on top. Aroma is faint but has mild notes of crystal & light caramel malt sweetness, faint grain, a little DMS & lightly toasted bread/biscuit. Taste is a little sweet, somewhat malty with some mild toasty biscuit, & slight toffee. Hint of stale hops, light skunk & DMS in the finish with a small, bitter bite. A very "neutral" beer. It’s okay, not much going on... a very tame red lager (a style which is already quite timid sometimes), nothing more & nothing less.

Pours copper / amber with off white head. Sweet caramel and malt on the nose and palate. Crisp and refreshing, a very good lager...

Probably my favorite lager. Like it a lot in the simmer for a thirst quencher. Great after cutting the grass, etc.

12 oz bottle shared by in laws. Pours a clear reddish amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have mild toasted malt, earthy notes, some metallic character, very mild bitterness, some mild sweetness. This is not very flavorful, much like the Honey Weiss.

Nice amber/copper color; Medium body; Aroma of toasted malt, & some caramel; Flavor of slight roasted malt, caramel, and some nuts; Overall, kinda of bland - just decent for me.

I had this at home. Pours amber red with a off white head. Taste Carmel malt, slightly sweet. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
