Love this beer, Leine’s rules, even though they are owned by Miller. Great easy going red with subtle aftertastes of fruit at the end.

Very good red beer. Sweet tasting, reminiscent of caramel, but there seems to be something toasted in there too. I better have another to figure it out.

Leinie’s Red is a solid member of the Leinie family. They all have very similar flavors, with this tending towards the hoppiness expected in a red lager.

Slight caramel or nuts-type malt character. Very little pine-like or herbal hops. Amber pour... sits in glass orangish-red. Medium sweetness, very light sourness. Seems slightly sweeter and slightly less better than Killian’s. Fuller side of medium-bodied, somewhat creamy texture. Lively carbonation, bittersweet and long finish.

This was my first red beer i ever tried and at the time i thought it was awesome. Having said that, now that I have tried many more beers and my taste for beer has become a little more... stronger, I have come to realize that this beer is just another typical American red beer. But it is still a good beer for the price and I will always choose it on tap over the big macro brews.

Bitter yet smooth in the end. A nice thick head with a sweet first taste followed by mellow bitterness, almost seems like a wheat.

Excelent aroma, good color (for a red beer), good inital flavor, bit of an aftertaste, but overall a very good red beer.

Red is one of the greatest colors. Red Heads are the hottest women, red sports cars look the best, and red beers are one of the best beers on the market. With that being said, this is still my favorite red beer.
