undsioux7 (466), Cologne, Minnesota, USA May 4, 2008 Pours red/brown with an off white head. Caramel dominates with not much else. Decent drinker though.
msante79 (185), Illinois, USA Jul 20, 2008 Had on tap. Pours reddish amber with light reddish tan head. Aroma is malty with a hint of hops. Flavor is all malts and a little dry. Not a bad beer and would drink again. kosko20 (32), Bemidji, Minnesota, USA Jul 17, 2008 Great American beer. Nice aroma but a better apperance, deep golden red with thick light tan head. Flavor: Somewhat malty, somewhat hoppy. Right balance of bitterness and goes down smooth. Definitely a beer I can drink all the time. mmm///beer (470), Austin, Texas, USA Jul 16, 2008 (Sampled 7-4-08 at cousin’s party from 12 oz. bottle poured into clear plastic glass)- poured transparent dull red-brown, quarter finger off white head that actually stayed for a few minutes. Very weak aroma of sugar and malt. Hits the mouth with a high-thin body, malt is detectable and somewhat pleasant, some odd twang of sweetness and hops on the finish. Better than what I was drinking before hand, but the homemade rocket fuel later in the evening blew everything away that night. sleestak (28), Williamston, Michigan, USA Jul 15, 2008 On tap at mega-chain wings bar. Pint was so cold it barely registered any aroma initially, but slightly malty-sweet as it warmed. Brownish red with a half-finger head. Malty and sweet up front with a lingering, not entirely pleasant bitter aftertaste. Decent session beer, but not the first one I’d reach for in the cooler. milewide (481), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Jul 12, 2008 Light red color. Thin body. Almost no head. No aroma or taste. Bud with a blush!
