COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Leinenkugelís Snowdrift Vanilla Porter is a robust and velvety addition to Leinenkugelís seasonal selection. This porter-style beer is aged on real vanilla to reveal rich layers of caramel, coffee and chocolate that is ideal for the season.

Bottle to pint glass. My wife actually picked this one up looking to try something new and mild for herself. Sheís not a hophead and was willing to share it with me. Not much of a head nor any decent lace left behind. The vanilla is apparent, decent aroma. Taste was fine, sort of reminding me of root beer with less carbonation. Mouthfeel was good and aftertaste didnít linger much. Overall, I fine beer and I could drink a handful, no problem.

Pours a rich brown/black with a short head. Not much on the nose, honestly. Sweet. Tastes strongly of vanilla, little else on the palate, though. Very one dimensional. Finishes astringently.

This one pours nicely, with scents of dark chocolate and a head better than 1/2" high. Its color is almost as dark as a porter can be. This one comes across slightly sweet, with little bitterness but the mouthfeel is comparatively thin. Not bad from Leinieís but not my favorite vanilla porter.

From a 12oz bottle, poured dark with slight head that faded quickly. Smell was some vanilla, hint of roasted coffee. Taste was coffee, malt, some bitter chocolate and a hint of vanilla extract. Not to sweet and an ok beer nothing memorable.

Dark brown pour, tan head. Looks thin but donít expect anything less. Light roasted vanilla aroma. Hints of chocolate vanilla and coffee, but all faint.thin body medium carbonation. Nice effort.

Black with a creamy head but quickly diminishing. Aroma of vanilla extract. Milky vanilla flavor with a smooth creamy palate.

Dark pour with a little head. Heavy vanilla with malt in both aroma and taste. No lacing bottle.

Inviting porter with just enough vanilla so as to not come across as too syrupy-sweet. A new personal fave for winter-time drinking! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle. Dark brown with very little white head. Thin body overall with high carbonation. No vanilla taste anywhere, hardly any flavor at all.

Black pour. Small white head. Little bit of lacing. Big aroma of vanilla. Taste is vanilla with a weird aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
