COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Leinenkugel’s Snowdrift Vanilla Porter is a robust and velvety addition to Leinenkugel’s seasonal selection. This porter-style beer is aged on real vanilla to reveal rich layers of caramel, coffee and chocolate that is ideal for the season.

Not bad for leinenkugels, really appreciate the high alcohol percentage. A Lil lacking in the taste, gets better as it warms up imo

Draught @ Curley’s Pub: This one pours a fairly opaque, dark brown color. There was a small tan head that left a little lacing. The aroma isn’t bad. Definitely has vanilla on top, but it is not too strong. Also has notes of chocolate and coffee. The taste isn’t bad. Vanilla, espresso, chocolate are dominant. Not much else. Medium bodied. Just a touch sweet. Not a bad brew at all.

Bottle. Pours dark brown/black with tan head. Aroma of dark roast and vanilla. Flavor of dark roast, malty with vanilla, light sweetness. Medium body with high carbonation. Overall, I think this is a fun, tasty beer.

pours a nice dark amber with a small darker head, This porter has a nice roasted coffee flavor with a bit of sweetness, a mild vanilla flavor folloewed by a bitter chocolate flavor. There is also a bit of earthyness to the porter.

I thought this was a very good Porter .I had 24oz. draught I taste more of a rootbeer flavor and vanilla from start to finish .I wanted to add some ice to it to taste the affect .It was avery good porter most porter that are vanilla taste to much like mocha coffee where this actually was vanilla witha porter finish.

Aroma of moderate roast with some chocolate and caramel; the vanilla presence seems rather subdued. Appearance is black with light mocha head. Flavor up front is lightly roasty; the vanilla peeks in briefly thereafter, the finish is sweet, thin caramel. Palate is creamy, but at once thin bodied. Nothing offensive really, but also not a standout beer. By no means a bad beer.

12 oz bottle pours black with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and vanilla. Taste is vanilla up front and then the malt comes through. A hint of chocolate is also there. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: FEB 4, 2013 I am surprised this has the low ratings it has as of right now. Had this on draft and came dark with 1 finger of brown sugar head. Aroma was exactly what I thought it should be with a strong hit of vanilla and chocolate. It had a very strong but nice vanilla taste up front followed by sweet chocolate at the fnish. Mouthfeel was light to medium which I wanted as it is a porter with minimal carbonation. In my opinion, as it should with the style and name.

Bottle. Black with thin beige head. Caramel and vanilla aroma. Flavour is largely vanilla, with a little chocolate. Vanilla finish

12 ounce. Thin sort of porter body with fairly strong vanilla taste. The vanilla, though, doesn’t blend blend well with rest of beer and leaves an artificial taste.
