Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours ruddy dark brown with a creamy/foamy light tan head. Fairly faint chocolate and vanilla aromas. Arguably medium body. There’s smooth burnt malt, and some chocolate, and a heavy dose of vanilla which dominates the not quite dry finish. Drinkable. Velvety? Arguable. It is smooth.

Bottle. Poured dark brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate roasted sweet malt and soft vanilla aroma. Medium body with a creamy texture and flat carbonation. Medium toasted vanilla sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations were met.

Bottle poured a clear dark reddish brown with a lingering ring of tan foam. Aromas of roastiness, cocoa and light vanilla. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of vanilla, cocoa and light roastiness with a crisp lingering vanilla finish.

Bottle. Pours clear dark brown with a small, frothy light tan head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is vanilla, roast and dark chocolate malt, prune and date esters with faint earthy hops. Flavor is malt dominant with vanilla notes, dark fruity esters and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle @ home, picked up at RJs Fort Collins. Still deciding if I should "party" with Dunt. Pours a clear, deep reddish brown appearance with a light brown head. Spicy, sweet cereal, vanilla, chocolate aroma. Fairly sweet, Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa, vanilla, caramel candy, a bit woody/grainy flavor. Drinks pretty fucken good.

Draft at the Phoenix Open. Dark brown pour, light head. Sweet vanilla, chocolate flavora. A tad artificial but not awful.

12 ounce bottle from a Kroger. Pours a clear dark red color with a medium sized frothy brown head. Decent head retention. Aroma of vanilla, chocolate, roasted malts and faint hops. The taste is big chocolate and vanilla notes, roasted malts, faint coffee, caramel and a mild bitter hop finish. Medium bodied, fairly drinkable.

Bottle. Light vanilla and chocolate malt aroma. Dark chestnut brown with large tan head. Mild chocolate malt flavor with a hint of herbal bitterness. Pleasant enough - just extremely light.

Thin mouthfeel. Almost vanilla minty aroma. Doesn’t taste natural, if it is aged on real vanilla beans there is also vanilla added. And i doubt it is aged on vanilla beans. Brewed with the house lager yeast which is a bad choice for this style though some lager yeasts can be used.
