COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Leinenkugelís Snowdrift Vanilla Porter is a robust and velvety addition to Leinenkugelís seasonal selection. This porter-style beer is aged on real vanilla to reveal rich layers of caramel, coffee and chocolate that is ideal for the season.

Bottle. Dark black pour with minimal head. Malty aroma with a hint of vanilla and coffee. Thinner porter, vanilla is present but not overpowering. Very drinkable beer that goes well with cold weather. Aptly named.

If you love chocolate and vanilla, this one will delight your palate. Smooth taste for a porter, with mild vanilla aftertaste. Nice combination for a Porter, try it with light seafood like mussels ! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Okay, this one isnít so much a beer as it is a high end vanilla latte. But I for one, can appreciate that- the vanilla bean is strong in this one, and if you pour it into a glass, you can even see the remnants of the actual bean. Super rich layers, a lovely seasonal from Leinenkugels.

Not bad. The vanilla is dominant in the flavor but the aroma is pretty terrible. Skunky and only a bit sweet smelling. Watery and pretty drinkable.

From the bottle, pours black with a short off white head. Aroma is light, but distinctly chocolate, some vanilla. Smooth, rich tastes of milk chocolate, vanilla beans, whipped cream and marshmallows. Subtle porter flavors and more like a stout. This is really good on a cold day.

This one was a surprise. Leinenkuegel can surprise you sometimes. Although not as rich as many porters, this one is easy to drink and tastes great. If you like vanilla, itís a winner. Itís very smooth and sweet.

Bottle to pint glass. My wife actually picked this one up looking to try something new and mild for herself. Sheís not a hophead and was willing to share it with me. Not much of a head nor any decent lace left behind. The vanilla is apparent, decent aroma. Taste was fine, sort of reminding me of root beer with less carbonation. Mouthfeel was good and aftertaste didnít linger much. Overall, I fine beer and I could drink a handful, no problem.

Simple beer. Highly Drinkable. For a more mainstream beer Leinenkugels has a great seasonal selection. Pours a slightly transparent black with heavy heavy heavy vanilla (delicious) but not overly sweet. Notes of chocolate and caramel. Iíd classify this more of a dark lager than a Porter with its low gravity (lacks thickness/viscosity) but nonetheless delicious. Especially for the price. Great to share with beer geeks or the occasional beer drinker.

Dark brownish black. Smells of roasted malt, dry hay, and coffee bean. Taste is malty, coffee, toast, and mildly sweet. Over all the other flavors and smells there is the added vanilla which seems artificial but I dont mind it. Very smooth bodied and drinkable brew. Reminds me alot of Leinenkugels Creamy Dark or 2 Below from New Belgium.

12 oz bottle thanks to Roy at work. Pours deep mahogany with a medium collapsing beige head. Aroma is initially worty for a brief moment before doughy bread, vanilla and Christmas spices reveal themselves. Taste is initially sweet before turning bitter mid-palate and remaining that way through the long finish. Vanilla is strong in flavor, yummy. Body seems a little thin. This is quite a tasty little beer.
