A nice reddish brown body with a tan head that faded away to fast. A nice aroma of vanilla, coffee, and some bittersweet chocolate. Flavor had a sweet note to it. It was not anywhere close to being cloying but sweet chocolate malts and vanilla dominated the flavor. Could have used some more roasted malts i guess. Finish was smooth and slightly creamy. A decent porter that fell short in areas.

Black pour. Has roasty aroma with a vanilla extract artificially aroma. Taste about the same. It's fine, slightly wintery. Big sweet.

I love this porter. One of my recent favorites. So sad it’s only seasonal. Very smooth, not too much vanilla. Sweet and not too hoppy.

Pours a very dark brown color with a reddish tint to it. The head starts off full and dissipates to a nice fine layer of foam that also forms a defined ring in my glass. The aroma is of semi sweet malted grains and a noticeable vanilla aroma. As for flavor I tasted sweet malts with subtle roasted quality. There was also flavors of mild bitter chocolate. The vanilla in the aroma translated in the flavor too. Overall the blending of the ingredients were done rather nicely and to me the beverage was rather thin and not very full in body. Making the snow drift flavorful, very drinkable, and kind to one?s palate.

Not bad, appearance of a decent porter, a bit heavy on the vanilla but OK overall.

Bottle from Fred Meyer. Very dark in color. Slightly opaque. Sweet nose of malt an vanilla. Roasty and sweet up front. Pretty good balance of roast and sweetness. Enjoyable little porter.

Pours a very dark cola, coffee cream head. Good carbonation. Chocolate aroma with hint of vanilla. Roasted chocolate flavor with vanilla. Fairly unremarkable, slightly bitter chocolate aftertaste with a relatively clean mouthfeel.

Too much vanilla extract make it almost candy like. Pretty easy to drink but balanced well for me.

Rated based on notes taken on 26 Dec 2014 -- Honestly this is my favorite Leinenkugel beer. Decent vanilla porter for sure.

A deep dark body with a creamy head. Aroma is faint, almost nonexistent. Slight coffee and sweetness. Taste is also subtle coffee and and caramel, not much vanilla . Finish is clean, was expecting more.
