Leinenkugels Summer Shandy

12 ounce bottle from Publix. Pours a fizzy, straw-yellow body underneath a minimal 2 cm. white head. Spotty lacing. The odor is strong lemon. Same flavor of lemon, slightly sour and tart in the finish. Not much else going on here. High carbonation and light body. Refreshing, but very unimpressive, though not as bad as I thought the taste would be.

Another cute Leinie label. Cloudy, dark yellow pour. Nice lemonade aroma, with hints of coriander and a little ammonia. Lite, snappy lemon- malt taste, and is that a little ginger in there too? Pretty fizzy and a little too watery.

12oz Bottle: Cloudy yellow w/ a small white head. Aroma is of lemonade. Not the overly sweet Kool-Aid type , but the more tart fresh-squeezed type. Flavor isn’t really that impressive. A wheat beer w/ lemon. That is all. BUT, this is an awesome BBQ beer. I picked up a six pack after my initial rating, took it to a BBQ & it was perfect. You could drink it all day in that sort of situation. Way better than your average "Lite" swill...

I’m a fan of leinies, but this one wasn’t for me. A very fruity taste and aroma, but it was a smooth beer. Too citrusy for me, but others may like it.

Think Mikes hard lemonade that does not hit you as fast. Makes it more drinkable and better on a hot summer day. Nice aroma and decent lemonade/ ale flavor.

Solid shandy. Tastes like lemonade. But this ain’t your grandma’s Country Time.

Not really sure if this is "real" beer but man is this good on a hot day! Has a slightly weiss color, very easy to drink. This is basically the Arnold Palmer (tea/lemonade) of beers. Great on a hot day.

On tap: Not bad, but a little too much lemon aroma and flavor. Very sweet. Drinkable in small quantities.
