It has a very cloudy pale lemonade color with a fluffy white head that quickly fades to a thin minimal covering. Lacing is minimal as well and slowly slides down the sides of the glass. The aroma has a heavy lemon concentrate scent with a hit of wheat malt. It has big lemonade flavor that’s not to sweet and not to tart with just a hint at wheat malt flavor. The body is light with a smooth slick mouth feel and lively carbonation. Overall it’s a refreshing summery beer that is very drinkable although it leans more towards a Mike’s Hard Lemonade malt beverage than beer.

Head is initially average sized, fizzy/frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is cloudy light yellow, unfiltered.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), with strong notes of lemon juice and chemicals.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean.
Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation.
Closer to a lemon cooler/soda/whatever than a lemon accented beer...very little beery about it, really. The lemon is overpowering and has a chemical background note that reminds me of Lemon Pledge or some similar cleaning/polishing product. Unpleasant aftertaste. Simple, gimmicky, and stupid, but just short of repulsive. Frank (1066), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 16, 2008 Remarkably non-hideous. I drank the whole bottle. I think it is supposed to taste like a hefeweizen w/ lemon pre-squeezed in it as a convenience to you, the consumer. Of course, it tastes more like Country Time lemonade than anything but it does have a beer-like mouthfeel so I guess they folks at Leinenkugal can be proud of that at least. Otherwise, this really has no redeeming virtue.
Re: the cleaning product aroma and flavor as mentioned in many other reviews. I have tasted and enjoyed many of the best cleaning products on the market. I find this to be entirely dissimilar in terms of balance and texture. zebracakes (1214), Washington DC, USA

I have to confess that I feel like I’m going to hate this beer, so let’s see what happens. Pours hazy corn gold, white head. Aroma is Mr. Clean floor cleaner (great start there). Flavor is floor cleaner, wheat and malt. Absolutely disgusting. Well, my first impressions were confirmed. Thumbs way down.
Oh and can you say "drain pour?" FROTHINGSLOSH (1984), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 15, 2008 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very cloudy yellow-golden color with a small white head that faded quickly. The aroma was dryish, lemony and a bit musty. The flavor was tart and bitter artificial lemon with a lightly tangy middle and a long tart artificial lemon finish. Nice on a hot day, which this was, but not overall a very good beer. Falconseye8 (525), Cartersville, Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 15, 2008 Not exactly what I was expecting but it is a great hot weather beer for a 100+ degree day. A tea with lemon flavor, drinkable, and the leinie taste fans of this beer would expect. Surprised its for sale down here in Georgia but thats a good thing. Will drink it again. jmw141 (134), Canton, Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Jun 14, 2008 Bottle to glass. Pours a cloudy browish-yellow with a bright white head that is gone fast. The aroma is wonderfully citrusy and begs you to drink it on a hot summer day. However, once tasted it becomes solvent-y, almost like pine-sol would probably taste. Theres a ton of lemonade, but I would just rather taste plain lemons. Finishes light and carbonated. Drink this one very cold. Its better that way. Kinz (2200), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 14, 2008 Sampled with JRHB meeting. Pale hazy yellow. Smells like lemonade. Somewhat zesty lemon flavor. Very much like a mildly alcoholic lemonade in flavor. Not beery at all. Sort of a second cousin of Mike’s Hard Lemonade. I just didn’t enjoy it very much, I honestly think I would prefer the malternative over this.
