Jun 11, 2008 THOUGHTS: Not a great beer, but a nice refreshing beverage. More like a lemonade than a beer, but not a hard lemonade, just a regular lemonade. Didn’t even seem like there was any alcohol. Like lemonade that had a lot of ice in it that has all melted.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a cloudy, light yellow that was almost whitish and glowed when held to the light. The aroma was lemonade with a little wheat and light yeast. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and moderately to heavily acidic; while the finish was moderately sweet and acidic and a little sour with a short to average duration. The flavor was mostly lemonade with a little wheat, but it’s all a little watery. I was nice but watered down. The light body was dry and watery too with fizzy carbonation and a dry and lightly astringent finish.

Jun 9, 2008 12 oz bottle...Poured hazy yellow w/ a thick, foamy white head that left little streaks of soapy laces. The aroma was lemon, yeast, malts. The flavor was exactly like I expected an unbalance mix of lemonade and an American wheat beer. Someone mentioned that it tasted like Countrytime powdered lemonade and I’d have to agree with that statement. On the plus side, the beer wasn’t heavy and it was very refreshing. It would suffice as a terrific beach beer or lawnmower beer.

Light lemon colored body which is a bit hazy. Citrus aroma. Flavor reminds me of powered Country Time Lemonade © with other notes of grass.

Jun 7, 2008 Peculiar artificial lemon aroma that gave me the impression that the people brewing this beer was trying to hard. Appearance was pale but misty. Taste was refreshing, but the finish was quite odd and left a strange taste to ponder, a little lemon and a little sweet. Overall I wouldn’t turn this beer down, but I wouldn’t drive to the Leine Lodge for it either.

Jun 7, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy yellow pour with a white head. Smells like pure lemon juice... taste is pretty much as advertised, lemonade and beer. Not really that good.
