Imagine lemonade mixed with a pale wheat beer. Strong lemon scent and taste with a hint of honey. Hazy light gold color with medium head that does not last. Minimal lace. Sweet, tart, and extremely drinkable. I go through 3-5 cases of this during the summer months.

Best by 20SEP12 Pours yellow and diaphanous with a etched white surface. Some spotty residuals on the rim. Smells like lemon juice, and a bit of detergent - really not much else going in the nose for me. It’s ceratainly lemony, but in a antibacterial sense. Taste is empty wheat water with a bit of artificial lemon flavor - like the innards of a lemon head candy (not the sour part). Very commercial to me, in a bad way. Water body with moderately hi carb and an unobtrusive finish. I can see why many folks dig this, and why my WI buddy asked me to find some for her - and why she also loves The Beast outta Milwaukee. Had this from bottle in 100 plus degree summer. Very refreshing summer beer. Pours straw yellow and hazy. Thin white head. Smells of honey and lemon. Tastes heavy of lemon juice honey and wheat. Sweet from start to finish. Great in the heat.

I had this at home. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Taste lemon, nothing special. I thought this was ok. I could drink this again

12oz can from Smiths
Pours hazy straw yellow with a medium sized creamy white head and light lacing. Aroma of lemon, wheat and honey. Flavors of lemonade, salty and herbal, dry finish
Decent, would probably taste better outside on a hot day.

FROM NOTES: July 21, ’12 Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Leinenkugal Pils glass. A: Strong lemonade notes with faint wheat notes. A: Pours a light, yellow-golden with some cloudiness. Head disappears after a few minutes leaving no lacing. T: Resembles lemonade as well, that combined with the honey certainly makes it sweet, but not Mike’s Hard Lemonade sweet. Tastes of wheat and bread give away the weiss base and remind you it’s a beer. Some lager-like graininess, a bit tangy. Flavor is definitely light and kinda one-dimensional, but it’s refreshing! P: Light bodied with high carbonation. O: Summer in a bottle.

Had straight from the can at suite in Comerica.. My sister told me before opening it up that it really just smells like lemonade, and that’s basically right. There’s definitely some adjuncty sorts of aromas in the background, but there’s a distinct lemon smell. It’s alright. I don’t like to really smell adjunct lagers, but the lemonade makes this fairly pleasing. Taste/feel: First sip was almost all lemonade again. As I continued to drink it, the cheap-taste bursted through. I have no idea if there even ARE adjuncts in this beer, but it smells and tastes like it to me. This beer’s unoffensive, and would be easy to drink a few of. I wouldn’t so much want to just sip on this at a bar or at home, but this worked at a Tiger game, and would no doubt be satisfying after a hot, sweaty day outside. This is about what I expected from this beer. It’s decent, but there’s nothing special about it... there’s a time and place for Summer Shandy.

Yellowish pour... the not so subtle lemon flavor hits you immediately and has a bit of sweetness...the beer flavor kicks in at the end...maybe a little too lemony.
