Bottle. A watery, beerish lemonade. Not overly sweet... or good. Not sure exactly how to describe this one other than a wheat beer mixed with some lemonade.

In northern Italy, the locals enjoy a drink called a radlaff(spelling), which is 50 percent beer and 50 percent lemonade. I imagine it might taste like this, and honestly, once a year, I wouldn’t mind it.

12 oz bottle: Smells like lemonade with a slight bit of wheat poking through with some sour notes as well. Pours a cloudy golden/orange with a thin sized white head that lingers. Taste is lemony, really carbonated mouth feel, interesting, I can detect the wheat more in the taste than in the aroma. It is also lightly spiced. Palate is quite carbonated, lively, some what thin, and mouth filling. Overall, It’s like drinking lemonade with a just slight bit of wheat beer mixed in. Refreshing cold on a hot summer day, but overall falls short.

Totally averge brew. My GF picked up a 6 pack of this. I had 2 and that’s plenty for me. Very thin, watery, and wheatish, with lots of lemonade poured in. Image Gumballhead and CountryTime. The lemonade, as expected, just dominates to the point where it is all you can taste. This is a "hot day" beer for sure, and I would probably like it better in that circumstance.

12oz Bottle Pours out a cloudy yellowish orange topped with a white head. Aroma of lemons and orange. Tast not to bad lemons and light malts. I think this would be ok after a day of yard work.

Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy ABV: 4.2% Calories: estimated at 150 C Volume: 12 fl oz Glass: flat footed 8 oz shaker Purchased at: West Trenton Fine Wines and Liquors, Explorer Price per fl oz: $13 / 144 fl oz = $0.09 per fl oz Consumed at: Home sensory first impression: It’s a lemonade based beer - it’s funny and cute, but not entirely inspiring or great. Aroma/Olfactory: 6 out of 10 Malt flavor is: sugary, lemony, tea Hop flavor is: floral, herbal tea Yeast flavor is: leafy Other flavors include: mint, tea, lemon, sugar, water Visuals/Appearance: 3 out of 5 Color is: pale, cloudy yellow Liquid is: cloudy Head and lace are: minimal, white, disperses to nothing Taste/Flavor: 5 out of 10 Maltiness or Sweetness level is: heavy Hoppiness or Bitterness level is: none Sour level is: light, acidic Palate/Tactile: 2 out of 5 Body or Mouthfeel is: light Texture is: thin, sticky Carbonation is: flat Finish is: middling and overly sweet Overall experience: 11 out of 20. I liked the novelty of it. I did not like the overt branding of lemonade as beer - I wanted beer, rather than lemonade.

Leine brews are generally solid, but this is rather disappointing. Along with Berry Weiss, this is too fruity and not nearly enough beer-y: Completely misses the art of subtetly when dealing with sweet fruity flavors like lemons. The saving grace is how refreshing it is...good for a hot day, I guess.

Bottle... Cloudy straw-colored brew with a small, frothy, white head. The aroma is all about cereal grains and lemon oil. Light-bodied, but creamy with lively carbonation. Well-balanced, but thin and fairly bland. Fortunately, not nearly as sweet as Stiegl Gaudi-Radler Zitrone. Short, crisp, refreshing finish.
