LinusStick (1830), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 16, 2008 This beer is crap. Aroma of farts and lemons. Pour was a nice cloudy gold with a thin white ring for a head. Taste was very fizzy and weak. Tasted like strongly carbonated lemonade. Calling this monstrosity beer is blasphemy. blutt59 (2042), Dallas, Texas, USA Jan 30, 2008 12 0z. bottle , pours a cloudy yellow with lemony nose and weak body, as said before a good summer beer, I prefer a wit to this however guyinchicago (516), marengo, Illinois, USA Jan 28, 2008 hey great idea taste of lemonade great on 90* + day. women love it need I say more CarterHayes (32), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Dec 31, 2007 Very large white head atop an eye-popping yellow pour. Nose reminds me of Lemonheads candy. Nice and tart, but the beer does get lost a bit in the lemon. Excellent, refreshing post-lawnmowing brew - but you’ll want to have more than just one. BigBeer45 (676), Troy, Michigan, USA Dec 28, 2007 Bottle, pours and looks like beer and lemonade mixed together, has lemon, sugar and malt aromas,
some lemon rind and lemon drop fragrances in there to that gave this a soda mixed drink feel, taste of wheat and dry lemon with little sweetness,
has some tartness at the finish, the flavors were weak, this is dry on the palate at the finish, I found this easy to be a thirst quencher on a Summer day
but it is not a substantial drink. franksnbeans (265), Columbus, Maryland, USA Dec 23, 2007 Thanks to genog for this gem of a bonus. Pours a cloudy and murky light urine color with a slight head that dies quick and doesnt lace. Smells of a lemon cough lozenge. Tastes like the powdered vitamin pack Emergen-C in tap water. Tangy, highly carbonated but doesnt hide a thing. Light in the mouth. Tastes between lemonade and theraflu. Had to choke this down but should have poured it out. If you like lemon jolly ranchers in zima, this is your brew.
JimTuna (19), USA Dec 20, 2007 This is the ultimate beer to have at a nice barbeque in the summer. Very delicious lemonade flavor. Probiere (992), Iowa, USA Dec 17, 2007 Truly horrible example of a radler-in-a-bottle beer. Like every Leinie’s beer, too sweet and reeks of artifical flavor. How hard is it to use real lemon flavor? Too hard, apparently. I notice other raters have said it was at least refreshing, but it was a struggle to finish even one bottle for me.
