Leinenkugels Summer Shandy

poured a nice lemonade color with a full head that disappeared. smelled of lemons and beer. very good taste with not too much lemon and just enough beer to consider it good.

12 oz bottle poured into a pilsner glass. Many other beers have tried to lay claim to this title, but Leinie’s Summer Shandy wins it: The Beer For People Who Don’t Like Beer. There is almost nothing about it that suggests beer. However, it certainly doesn’t taste bad. Pours cloudy straw color, with substantial foamy head that disappears at a medium pace. Mostly lemon in the aroma. Taste is lemony with a strong grape flavor. Light bodied with no hint of alcohol in the taste or aftertaste. Having a glass of very sweet lemonade would have the same effect.

Bottle from Capone’s. Hazy dull gold pour with 2-finger, very lour white head. Aroma is lemon and mild hops with a smattering of pale malt. Tastes lemony, citric, with some pale malt notes. Light, fizzy palate.

Nice if you like lemom flavor. Thin head but very refreshing. A good one from Leiny

Bottle - Cloudy Light yellow color, no head, no lacing. I’m always game for something different so when my wife picked up a six pack of this I just had to try one. Flavor is interesting but hard to call it beer. It seriously reminded my of the lemon scented clorox cleaner. It had some serious lemon aroma. I only rate it this high because I appreciate that Leinenkugels did something a little different. Pretty strange stuff.

Try only if you realy like Lemon. Too sweet and not enough hop for me. On the carbonated side

Cloudy yellow color. Lemonade taste. No hops. Medium sweetness and medium body.
