Jayson2425 (167), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA May 24, 2009 Too lemony for my taste but lived near leinenkugel brewery so had to try. After a few you have to switch to the original or red Lowe1983 (1029), Fairborn, Ohio, USA May 23, 2009 Pores a cloudy yellow color with a white head. Aroma is wheat and lemonade. Flavor is the same at that’s about all there is to say about this beer. riversideAK (2648), Shoreline, Washington, USA May 21, 2009 Hmmmm... so this one was interesting. The aroma was that of a generic mass produced wheat beer mixed with lemon cleaning solution. Pours yellow and hazy, the head was nice and fizzy. Mostly cleaning solution with some hints of wheat. Too artificial and chemically for me, like a Mikes Hard Lemonade mixed with beer, I guess that is what it is... it is what it is man... Whatever. More natural would have equaled more better with this one. bluecollarboy (36), Illinois, USA May 19, 2009 Decent weiss beir aroma with lemonade undertones. Pours pale and cloudy (unfiltered, I presume?) with a decent head. Drinks very smoothly with a reasonable amount of lemon flavor (not overpowering like Bud Light Lime or Miller Chill). Overall, another good brew from Leinenkugel’s, that would be very satisfying on a hot summer day, although may loose appeal in later months. (Yes, I know they only brew it seasonally, I was just saying) Narnad (681), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA May 18, 2009 Pours a cloudy yellow with a decent thick white head. Aroma is light of wheat but mostly dominated by a lemon scent, similar to that of Pledge. Flavor is a light sweet wheat with Pledge lemon. Modest density and carbonation. Overall not a bad beer for a summer drinking session but I could see having to switch to another beer every now and then to take a break from the lemon flavor. WeeHeavySD (2940), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA May 16, 2009 12oz. Pours cloudy yellow with a tan head. Nose is really damn leomandy, so hell it fits that description. Taste is sweet and like beer lemonade. Far better than the % would suggest, not great, but not a terrible American interpretation of the style. weitz15 (67), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA May 14, 2009 Cloudy off-yellow color with a white head. This beer has a very citrusy aroma. The flavor was of few hops and sweet lemonade. The combination was quite refreshing, as the marketing implies. Best served ice cold with an orange. Sparky27 (1559), Phoenix, Arizona, USA May 14, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy light yellow with a 2 finger snow white head. The nose is lsweet emonade and wheat. The taste is malt, wheat and light lemonade in the finish. Lighter prickly mouthfeel. I’m glad the taste wasn’t as strong as the aroma. Refreshing lawnmower beer.
