If I didnít know better, Iíd have thought Iíd ordered a lemonade based on the aroma. Nose is tart lemon and not much else. Unique flavor, although very one dimensional. I believe this is supposed to be a wheat beer, but you really canít tell. Basically a lager with some lemon flavor added. The lemon doesnít totally take over in the taste, but I donít want to be sipping on an average leineís lager beer with some added lemon. I didnít expect much, but somehow this still was a let down. Oh well, I probably wonít be ordering this again. There are better summer alternatives for refreshing brews.

Tap. The beer pours to a hazy/murky putrid yellow colored body with a thin white head. I donít like the color. The aroma is really faint. Slight notes of wheat, lemon, and coriander. The flavor is heavy on sugared lemon fruit and slight lemon zest. Moderately toasty. Reminds me of lemon drop candies. Subtle coriander. Average nondescript body.

Very hazy pale yellow with a medium head that vanished almost immediately. Light citrus and wheat aroma. Flavor was nowhere near as sweet as I expected. Hints of lemon juice, wheat and a slight malty finish. Palate is very light and refreshing, perfect for the style. Pleasantly surprised by this one. I was fearing a cloyingly sweet wine cooler but itís actually a pretty good summer beer. I think Leinie learned something after their Berry Weiss because I havenít tasted a beer from them as sickeningly sweet as that one since.

Cloudy very light straw color with a tall white, somewhat creamy head. Sounds more like a radler or russ & malt. Nice lace. Fresh lemonade aromas with hints of pale malt and lemon-grass in the backdrop. For what it is, a decent smelling brew. Toasted white bread dipped in lemon honey tea. A little too much lemonade and not enough beer to back it up. A light summer quaff, that should do ok, with the fruit brew crew.

Based on what I had heard about this beer, I was expecting a sickeningly artificial lemon flavor to dominate. It had a light and airy lemongrass/wheat aroma, pretty decent. The sip was pleasantly subdued, grassy flavors and a hint of lemon juice. It tasted much more like squeezed lemon juice than artificial lemonade, which got points in my book. I think this beer, although unimpressive, will make a fine summer barbeque beer.

12oz bottle- Aroma of lemon and dirty dishwater on a lemonade looking body. Taste of a mild lemonade with no weiss attributes whatsoever. Could be much better. Not impressed.

This poured with a cloudy pale straw body and a snow white head. The aroma is massive artificial lemon scent, like lemon drops. The taste is relatively mild with some watered down lemon juice with a bland wheat beer. You know when a bartender drops a lemon wedge into your light American wheat at a brewpub? This is much like that experience. Not bad, especially for a summer beer.

Pours a very cloudy yellow, just like lemonade, with a medium head. Strong lemon aroma and a little sour wheat. Lots of dusty wheat taste, but the lemon kind of fades into the background. It doesnít have a horrific Pledge-like quality. Iíve had far worse.

Well, even though this is probably strictly a summer beer, it is quite good. Looks like lemonade with a frothy white head. Nice lemony aroma. Very smooth, tart taste. Clean aftertaste. Quite easy to drink.

Congratulations to Leinies for brewing yet another pathetic beer. This is as worthless as tits on a nun. Pours a hazy piss color. Aroma is artificial lemon and thats is it. Flavor is lemon and wheat. Aftertaste is foul and when you belch the acidity burns the nostrils. I have a clogged drain that this crap might unplug. Or maybe I will use it as furniture polish. Unless they start bottling a beer like the Big Eddy Imperial IPA this brewery is DEAD TO ME!!!!
