Very pale yellow almost like foggy lemonade with a average white head. Grainy lager aroma with biscuit, and lemon. Wow, was not expecting that, this is a lemon drop bomb, I had no idea that this beer was going to taste like this, definite radler thing goin on. Also flavor of grain, sweet malt, some other light fruits, strawberry, orange, I would not describe it as sickening but pretty darn sweet. Light, fizzy body. This beer is almost like alcopop style lager. I can see how this would be very popular to many during the summer season but not exactly my cup of tea.

A decent brew for a hot day, the Lemon comes through in a sickly manor, but the taste is definatley doable and was quite enjoyable. Not for a cool day though, keep it strictly as a warm day beer.

A summer treat when your hot, not one to have with a meal. Lemonade is the only flavor that comes to mind with this light, white head wheat style beer.

12oz bottle. An English style of a German Radler? hazy yellow color, weiss beer appearance. very thin white head. aroma of Country Time lemonade. Flavor of lemon hard candy (without the sugar). Fizzy body. Not as refreshing as expected.

this is an excellent seasonal brew from the wisconsin brewer that is notorious for making horrible flavored beverages. another great summer beer....very refreshing.

(Tap) Pours a straw color with a small head and slight haze. It looks like beer, but that’s where the similarities stop. Aroma is of citrus. Taste is like carbonated lemonade. Surprisingly, this is not as awful as it sounds. Better body than expected. This is a rather common drink in Germany (and other parts of Europe). I would say this beer is on par with some of the better examples of this bunch.

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2008 Lemonade yellow/white with way too much pure white head. It really does look like lemonade with beer foam. Smells like someone dumped lemonade into Miller Lite. That’s it’s no great smell here. Cheap lemonade with beer. I guess that’s ok since that’s what a SHANDY really is. I wish it was 100 degrees out so this beer didn’t taste so infested with bad lemonade. Since it’s not I’m not sure which offends me more the lemon pledge lemonade or the beer it’s sitting in. Now if it were 100 degrees I would really appreciate what this beer stands for. Since I’ve had it many times on a super hot day, this beer gets a pass from me at this moment. Very smooth and easy to drink. Lemonade does bring back those thoughts of being a little kid and having a lemonade outside in the backyard on a hot summer day. Now that I’m an adult, I can appreciate the beer in there so I can have some alcohol without drinking vodka. Sh!t man you can drink these like water on a hot day! Today it’s a little cooler and it’s still really easy to drink [as I finish what’s left in my glass]. I recommend this beer very cold on a very hot day!

Lemon, wheat aroma notes, but more reminded me of Mr. Clean. Pale straw cloudy with quickly disappearing head. Lemon and wheat notes dominate the flavour. Very tart, with a carbonated sour finish.

As a shandy, not terrible. For those unfamiliar with the term shandy, it generally refers to lemonade mixed 50/50 with beer, but bottled shandy is usually much less beer. This is clearly only about 50/50-70/30. There is still some beer in here, and that’s good. Pours a cloudy golden yellow, and stays cloudy. No real head. The aroma is lemony, as one would expect. Too sweet compared to the shandy I had last (In Bodrum, Turkey... Efes Pilsen and some homemade lemonade). The flavor reflects the aroma, just as one would expect. Mostly lemon, with some wheatiness following the lemon. The real problem is the carbonation. A shandy ought to be lightly carbonated, since the lemonade waters down the beer. This is very carbonated, and almost hurts to drink due to the bubbles. Yeah, I like me some flat beer. Drink it cold, it goes down really smooth. GREAT after a hot day, and can be drank right from the bottle with no problems.
