A very German thing to do, mixing lemonade with beer, but I just do not care for it. A hazy wheat beer with a artificial lemon influence. Just not afan.

Bottled. Poured a milky paler golden with a tall, creamy cap of white head.. some sticky lacing. Aroma was of sweet lemonade and 7-Up blended with some wheat and deeply-rooted veggies. Flavor had a tangy lemon backing too it with wheat tartness.. really nothing in here to bring me back. Almost creamy across the middle of the palate with tart notes eminating outward.. felt OK, but was rather unpleasant on other fronts... never overtly offensive, but unpleasant.

Hazy wiesse beer look. Nice lemon aroma. Horrible lemon pledge flavor on a thin, watery, chalky, slightly astringent beer. Friggin’ disgusting.

Good aroma, but that’s about all that’s good. Very watery, and the lemonade tastes like a mix without sugar. Not a good beer, I don’t expect to try this again.

Really, really bad beer. I tried this when the pitchers were on special for $4 and still couldn’t stomach a second round at the discounted rate. I love beer and I like lemonade, but mixing them together, at least in the formula Leinenkugels has, was a bad, bad idea. The only bonus is that I get to explain to less informed girls what a Shandy is in England. Women love it when they find out you’ve traveled overseas. Really, they’re not that bright.

Lemony citrus flavor over a light wheat-ish ale. Drinks like a not-so-sweet malternative.

I’m not one for flavored beers, but this one caught my attention. Lemonade flavoring and beer. kinda like the germans do during oktoberfest so they can drink more. Instead of lemonade flavoring they use lemonade.

As an American, I’m not too keen on shandy beers. This one could have been a lot better if the lemonade in there had tasted like real lemonade, not the canned stuff. The beer is hard to find in there as well. You could find better summertime outdoor beers. Namely Leinie’s original.

Smells like lemonade, but not the fresh squeezed kind. Tastes like, well, lemonade. There is some beer in there somewhere, but you’d be hard pressed to find it. Suitable for any situation where Mike’s Hard Lemonade would do.
