2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I suspected that a major brewer was behind this one based on the packaging but I picked up a six-pack anyway. This one has a little too much lemon in it. I did enjoy it on a nice hot afternoon though. It is a good summer beer to break up the monotony.
From the start, the aroma is dominated by lemon. There is something else in there but I can’t put a finger on it.
Pale yellow and hazy. It looks like an unfiltered wheat, though I’m pretty sure that it is filtered. A small white head forms and disappears just as quickly. Nothing to be impressed by here, move along.
The taste is crisp and refreshing. Strong and slightly sour lemonade. Pretty much what you expect from a beer advertised as a "Weiss Beer with Lemonade". This is a pretty nice light taste for a hot afternoon.
The palate is very lively. A nice hit of carbonation on the tongue and lips through the whole beer. Despite the opacity, this is a very light thin beer. The finish is quick and a little tart.

Pitchers at Bill’s Pub to start the family holiday weekend. Solid lemony with some sweetness. Shrug? Nice for summertime over a macro.

yeap, it was basically lemonade poured on a wheat beer, I could probably make this with natural light and lemonade, but they made it for me

12 fl. oz. bottle in a restaurant. Unclear pale yellow in the glass, white foamy head. Taste like citrus with grain and hay, little bit dry. Not so sweet as others. Okay for that kind of stuff.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Can. Pours a hazy yellow body under a one finger fizzy white head that faded to a wispy covering. The nose is a lot closer to lemonade than if is to beer. Sweet and tart with loads of lemon juice and sugar. The flavor is a little less intense on the lemonade than the aroma, but it’s still pretty strong. Not much beer flavor in here save for a bit of bready malt on the late finish. The sweetness is fairly low at least though. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation and a watery finish. Pretty bland and boring stuff.

This is one of my go to summer beers if I’m looking to put back quite a few and don’t want to get hammered. They go down easily and are quite refreshing in the heat. Pours yellow and slightly cloudy. Aroma of lemon and so is the taste. Light beer, tasty, refreshing, easy to find.

Transfer from BA review from 6-7-12-
Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The brew was served with a very hazy yellow color and a big white head. The head faded fast leaving only a very minimal amount of lacing.
Smell – The smell was heavy of lemonade. There was a light wheat and yeast aroma mixed in with an ever so light grassy smell.
Taste – The taste was overall of a light wheat and sweet lemon flavor up front. These created a very lemonade like flavor in the brew. More toward the middle of the taste there was a light yeast flavor that mixed in. The sweetness lightened up as the taste advanced, but never really bittered, instead it just lost strength and ended up leaving a slightly more wheaty flavor on the tongue. Overall these flavors were all very light.
Mouthfeel – The mouthfeel was on the more watery side with a high level of carbonation. It gave it a refreshing characteristic, but nothing with much complexity.
Overall – Not a real flavorful beer, but not an offensive one. It would be great for sitting outside with on a hot summer day. I would consider it a good hot weather session brew, but not one I would recommend on any other occasion.
