well...it is what it intends on being...it is, as described: a lemonade beer...light straw body with medium white head..aroma of fresh lemonade and grassy hops..flavor is too much lemonade and too little beer..a touch of bread-like qualities mixed with a shot of weak lemon juice...not bad, but far too basic..

Bottle. Yellow color. Smells of hops, malt and lemon. Taste like, well, beer with lemon. Actually not bad on a hot summer day.

Bottle. Very lemony, sweet, tart, slight sour. Delicious on a hot summer day. Provides a light mouthfeel, carbonation and weight. Great summer beer. Snobs, get over yourselves.

On draft at a ball game. Cloudy light yellow with little head. Aroma is lemonade, sugar, light bread, and very mild hops. Taste is lemon, sugar, and mild beer flavors. It’s like 4.2% abv kool aid. Thin mouthfeel. Meh

Oh my internet you scared me. This rating is horrible, and the appearance is pretty disgusting. There is also no aroma at all. While the lemon flavor is a bit strong I think I actually enjoy this . The underlying beer is very mild, but pleasant. I’d drink another. But not a six pack.

12oz bottle pours yellow with a white head. Aromas of citrus lemons lemonade mix some wheat and straw. Flavor is sour and very lemony. Body is light and finish is dry and lemony.

It poured a golden yellow color with a small white head. The aroma was of citrus, lemons, and some wheat grass. The taste was strong lemonade that transitions into a bitter/dry wheat finish.

Draft. Basically alcoholic lemonade. Like a Mike’s Hard Lemonade mixed with a Miller Light. Big lemonade scent over a golden yellow pour. Light body, crisp finish. The taste is all lemonade with a hint of grain in the aftertaste.

Bottle. Hazy yellow with decent white head that dissipated but left some lacing. Smells very lemon-adey. Taste follows- super lemony. Sweetish lemony finish- bit of graininess. Fairly carbonated.

I am at a BBQ and the beer choices are Corona, Corona Light, Miller High Life and Leinenkugels Summer Shandy. After a few Miller High Life cans I gave one a try. Light bodied beer with more of a lemonade flavor than anything. Very slight bitterness and surprisingly a decent natural not chemical lemonade taste. Not a beer I would seek out, but definitely a summer BBQ beer for the masses.

Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy has a thick, fluffy, white head and a very cloudy, pale yellow appearance. The aroma is of lemonade and just a touch of white bread. Taste is of lemonade, white wheat bread, sugar, and a very low bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy finishes mostly dry, tart, and refreshing. It’s not really a beer. It’s a flavored malt beverage. I think it’s very good, for what it is. RJT
