1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
UPDATED: JUN 14, 2011 Pours a nice hazy yellow gold with thick white head, minimal lacing. Aroma decently pleasant of lemon and wheat, but not a lot else. Flavor is hugely disappointing. It literally tastes like an ok wheat beer mixed with some Country Time lemonade. Only reason I drank this was because my other options were Bud, Bud Light, and Miller Lite. That will likely be the only time I have it again. On a side note, my wife liked it! Yes, that does say a lot about her tastes in beer.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
On draft. Cloudy yellow color with almost no head. Lemon aroma. Watery and artificial lemon taste. Slight carbonation. Something for hot days. Not bad for its purpose.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle at home with my wife. Pour is hazy lemon peel with a frothy white head and decent lacing. Big lemonade, corn, biscuit, straw, lime and light salt in the aroma. Taste is sweet lemonade, corn, crackery malt, biscuit, and sweet grain. Light body with medium carbonation. Perfect beer to pound during the summer.

4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
For having a lemonade flavor added to it, this beer is not overly sweet on the palate. It is a great beer to sip on the beach, by the lake, on a boat, or just anytime during the summer. Easy to drink a few of them without getting sick of the lemon flavoring.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Leinenkugels summer shandy. This beer is a guilty pleasure, not a beer for a purest. Pours cloudy yellow. Smells of lemon, yeast, wheat. Taste is lemon, lemon meringue. The lemon taste is up front but finish is bready and mellow. Easy to drink and not over sweet. Nice summer beer.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a light gold with a moderate white head. Very fruity on the nose, lemony. Palate is the same. Has a very lemony finish. Would be pretty good on a hot summer day, but nothing special here.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a hazy golden colored body with a small white head, had minimal lacing, nothing spectacular.
The smell had mild wheat and medium strength of lemon notes.
The taste had some strong lemon with the mild wheat coming back, with a definite sweetness to it.
The palate was light, sessionable, mild bitter aftertaste and finish.
Overall, this is a summer "dessert" beer and perhaps malt drinkers might like it.
