2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Smells like blueberries, or rather like a poorly made blueberry wheat. Thereís some light orange soapy scents in there too, but the nose is dominated by a funky blueberry scent. Appearance is proper for an unfiltered wheat. Light and smooth up front, a little more rough on the palate after that, with those blueberry wheat flavors showing up... finishes with a light creamy texture. Really far off from what a wheat beer should be like, but I guess I can see drinking this when cold and itís hot and sunny outside. Still, not very good compared to others in the style.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours a cloudy gold, light head. Aroma is fruity, very fresh, with hints of spice. Taste is a nicely layered combo of orange and corriander. First taste is sweet, next is spicy. Very pleasant to drink.

suprised by this one, was expecting the same old macro version of a wheat. heavy citrus made it an enjoyable summer beer.

UPDATED: NOV 1, 2006 I love beer made with Coriander and this one is terrific. I couldnít quite place the flavor at first but it just was so refreshing. The sent of the beer is wonderfully sweet. The beer itself isnít sticky sweet like Linies Honey. Let me give this a big thumps up. I expected little because I didnít really like other beers of this brand. A cool surprise that perhaps isnít in my top ten but it is awful close.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(Tap and Bottle) Pours a hazy yellow/orange with a small, but lasting head. Heavy aroma of spices, with the taste being similar. Rather dry and not very sweet. Still enjoyable to drink and refreshing. With a little more balance, this could be a great beer.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: AUG 14, 2006 Bottle to a pounder (shaker). Very nice aroma. Strong citrus elements of lemon and orange. Pours out a very cloudy copper/sand colour with a very small creamish head. The taste is very sweet but as a previous rater had stated, and hit it exactly on, it tastes a lot like fruity pebbles cereal. Initially the beer is bodiless until the citrus and very light hoppiness kick in giving it a light sugary body. It has no strong finish elements except for the citrus upon the palate and slight notes of coriander.

What a great aroma! It makes a great lead in to this beer. It was also the best thing to be found here, not that this was a bad beer. It was extremely crisp and clean and had a nice feel to it. Several have mentioned Fruit Loops and that has some truth to it. There are also spices and coriander. Leinenkugels is one of my favorite brewers and I have yet to be disappointed by one of their products.

Itís not that the beer is bad. Iím not sure how much I really like it though. My biggest problem is that it tastes exactly like Fruity Pebbles to me though.

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2006 The best seasonal beer Iíve ever had. It reminded me of Blue Moon but with a stronger flavor of corriander. Distinctive, suprisingly decent body, sweet aromas. And the name just makes you want another!

A very fruity tropical beer. The wheat and the malt are dominate in this one and while American wheat are a bit more fruity, this one really shines out.
