3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured a very cloudy medium gold with a quickly dissapating white head. The aroma is fresh cut oranges and some hints of soap. There is also some corriander. The taste is definitely strong citrus with some hints of grapefruit rind and corriander in the finish. This is actually fairly refreshing and sweet. Like a hard orange candy. Not bad. Itís like a cross between a wit and an American wheat.

Pale beer smells like grapefruit. Even has a very significant grapefruit flavor, almost sickly in the mouth. Had this one at work, free sample. We arent going to carry it.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle-hazy orange with a fairly significant soapy white head. big tangerine/orange peal aroma-overbearing if you ask me. Smells like floor cleaner-very artificial. tastes like the sunkist orange jelly candy i used to get when i was a kid. body is light and somewhat watery. ok, but not really a respectible wheat beer. makes a good chic beer i would guess.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
I was a little leary when my buddy brought this over. I always thought leinieís was okay back in the day, but that was before discovering the complexity of better craft brews. Plus, itís never a good thing when a macro company (Miller) buys your out. Well, I was still interested in this as the wheat/hefe style has really grown on me. Pours a cloudy yellowish orange. Looks the part. Smell is some banana, orange, clove. I taste the orange, more than the banana, and a peppery finish. Interesting, and because of that I will give this beer its props. I would say it has some witbier qualities. Not bad, better than average, which is a good thing for Leinenkugels.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Millerís answer to Blue Moon, I suppose. Pours cloudy, a surprise in itself. A sure enough big wheaty head with some lacing, that sticks around to the end. I get an Orange Shasta smell, and since I like the smell of orange pop, I call that okay. Some of the wit-type coriander does come up, too. Taste matches the smell pretty well. A rather nice, orangey glow that by rights should put this into a fruit beer category. Any spice and hops just blend well into the overall impression. Another very serviceable lawnmower beer.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours light cloudy yellow with a citrusy smell. The flavor has an orange spice with lunchmeat flavor. Lasting citus flavor. Actually this is pretty refreshing when you concentrate on the citrus, but nasty if you pickup on the lunchmeat spiciness.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled. Poured a hazy dull golden with a short-lived white head. Nose was powerfully sweet... candy-like with orange, lemon, and spices. Sweetness became out of hand in the flavor and palate departments... Lemonheads come to mind, backed by an orange and coriander assault. Lighter-bodied. Some sour citrus highlights and a little grainy. It would be hard to drink more than one of these at a sitting.

1.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Cloudy straw color, small white head that faded quickly leaving little behind. The aroma was fairly spicy and citrusy, kind of nice actually and surprising from a macro brewer, didnít think they could do that. The taste is a little disappointing though.starts off as sort of cerealish in the beginning with a decent spice showing and some grainieness. Then is switches to a spicy lemon thing and the after taste lingers on and on and on.Itís hard to say if this is good or not but i guess from just the idea of would i drink this in volume, then no.It has plenty of flavor but just seems a little unbalanced in some way.Kind of a macro trying to look like micro by masking one of there cheap pilsners with some clouds, spice and fruit.Nice try but iím not fooled by this one.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Light and refreshing. Easy to drink and bubbly. Hints of wheat and then sweet sour citrus candy. Grainy malt finish. After a couple the bitterness lingers on the palate and becomes annoying. Still not a bad beer, I will be enjoying this over the course of the summer.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
UPDATED: DEC 15, 2007 Holy lemonheads batman! Big lemon lime candy nose on this one! Also,a spicy, doughy lemon pie, and even a blueberry muffin, note. Not much up front, rather it fades quickly into a moderate bitter hop finish, but a lingering spicy coriander manages to surfaces after the hop finish. Still, lemon candy throughout. Weird. Resamples features a weird blueberry note that when mixed with the lemon, it smells and tastes like fruity pebbles. Pretty awful.
