3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours to a very unfiltered straw colored body with a dense but thin lasting white head. The aroma is white bread, light bubblegum, lightly tart wheat. The flavor is white bread, light bubblegum, subtle spices. Some tartness exists on the palate. Well carbonated, chewy but not gritty. Medium bodied. Very serviceable.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAY 10, 2006 Leinieís Sunset Wheat is a great alternative to the fine coriander taste of Blue Moon. Sunset Wheat is a thinnish lager that pours nicely into a pint glass but loses its head rather quickly. I tasted orange/coriander bursts throughout this enjoyable brew, but was very taken by a strong impression of blueberries. My cousin and his girlfriend insisted that they tasted no blueberry, but I am quite sure I wasnít too tipsy after only one beer! Anyway, this beer will make a great addition to the Leinenkugel year-round stable, and is heartily recommended for anyone looking for something a little different for their next cookout.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a cloudy straw color w/ a whispy white head. Palate is well carbonated ok coating. Aroma is a light lemon zest hop some grain notes a light carmel malt is notable. Flavor is light & very easy to drink smooth lightly sweet hints of wheat w/ a dry lemon zest finish. This would be really good on a hot day.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a cloudy yellow. Citrussy smell. Nice tartness and very refreshing. This will be a very popular beer in the hot summer! Not nearly as fruity as Blue Moon. This is not a flavored beer by any means. Fairly high carbonation and very little bitterness. This is a very nice brew from a mainstream brewery.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours hazy yellow with pillowy white head that goes away quickly. Aroma is strong lemony citrus - slight wheat under it, but the citrus is strong. This doesnít even taste like beer - lots of citrus upfront, mainly lemon, but some orange aspects as well. Finish has the citrus and a bit of a blueberry taste. Not what I was expecting at all. Further down the glass a bit of spice becomes apparent on the finish. Very crisp and refeshing - great summer beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cloudy straw color with a creamy, small white head. Blueberries, coriander, and mild orange peel in the aroma. A touch to perfumy in my book. Lightly acidic with a touch of wit. Quite fizzy, but appropriately quenching. A cross between an american wheat and a wit. A bit sweet and fruity for me. A wit version of the Berry Weiss IMO.
