After depleting on a weekly basis dark beers of chocolate coffee angst, popping the cap on a Leinenkugel’s can feel a bit like the liquid equivalent of listening to a Len album. I wouldn’t call this a complaint, per say, but it’s not a beer I take completely seriously. The smell is fragrantly clean and the taste is so crisp. I get hints of something a bit more voluptuous than standard citrus - perhaps berries or deeper spices - but it doesn’t follow with anything definitive enough to teach my amateur palate. My only regret is drinking a Sunset Wheat in mid-February. This is a summer beer.

A really great brew thats is drinkable anytime throughout the year. Great aroma, color and taste. Great on tap or out of the bottle. Oneof my favorites.

This beer has a nice smoky aroma and taste as well. It had a minimal head but a nice smooth aftertaste.

BLUEBERRY MUFFIN BEER! HOLLA! I’m serious I’ll drink this stuff in the morning along with a cup of coffee and I’m good to go.

on draft. pours hazy yellow color with white head. the aroma of a wheat and fruit (fruity pebbles). i swear to god it is. the flavor is none bitter wheat with that fruitiness to it. not a bad beer and not a good beer just middle of the road and not something i would drink all the time.

Excellent "breakfast beer"..hint of blueberry..and very smooth going down.. Hopefully this stays a production beer forever.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2012 Tap. Cloudy Orange Gold Color. Foamy white head. A little lacing. Aroma of wheat, oats, and citrus - lemon and orange and spice. Flavor of citrus highlights a rich wheaty taste. Very malty, with a slight hop accent for bitterness. Malty wheat finish. Very nice and very refreshing.

12 oz. bottle. Party rate. Aroma and taste are all Fruity Pebbles. Mixed sweet fruits that are almost sickeningly sweet. Little "wheat" character detected. It is just too sweet to be enjoyable.
