Beautiful golden color when mated with an orange peel. Citrus, wheat, the usual for this type of beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a murky orange gold color with a large white head. The aroma is full of fruit, spice and some caramel. The taste is big on wheat with some fruit nicely blended in.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tasted from bottle. Pours a nice murky orange with thick white head. Aroma is orange and other citrus but overall muted and not as fresh smelling as I'd like. Taste is moderate sweet with no bitterness. Flavors of orange, coriander, lemon. Average to below average. Oberon blows it away.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 4/18/2016. Pours hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, blueberry, peach, orange peel, coriander, light pepper/clove, wheat, cracker, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, fruit/spice, and moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big lemon, blueberry, peach, orange peel, coriander, light pepper/clove, wheat, cracker, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/spice bitterness and minimal fruit tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, blueberry, peach, orange peel, coriander, wheat, cracker, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, fruit/spice, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready, and slightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.9%. Overall this is a very good fruited witbier style. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, fruit/spice, and moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and refreshing to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Originally rated on 6/8/08. The second out of my sampler case, and the best out of the four in my opinion. It had a very small white head, little lacing was left. The body was thick yellow with an orange tinge, with small floaters. The aroma was floral and friuty, with an aftertaste of cherries, berries and citrus also present. also a slight taste of alcohol was noticeable. A little different for a wheat but not bad, worth a try

Orange and cloudy. You get the artificial fruit candy orange. This isnít for me. I prefer their honeyweiss. Wife thinks it taste like candy so she can finish the rest.

I think all of Leinenkugelsí beers are the same: fruity and delicious, but leave you wishing they had something more distinguishing than which fruit is in this particular beer youíre drinking at that moment.

Hazy, orange-yellow pour with a white head. The aroma has a lot of orange juice with some light lemon. It has a light body with smooth texture and average carbonation. The taste is sweet and refreshing.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a very cloudy orange. About one finger head. Lots of little floaties in there. Not a lot of lacing.
Smells very fruity, like rock candy. There might be a touch of spiciness in there.
Flavor is very sweet. Again, rock candy or Fruity Pebbles, and its very nice. Iím sure itís chock full of artificial ingredients, but it works great. There is a little spicy citrus in it, must be the coriander. It also has some wheat bread flavor. But its buried in there. I only noticed it after it warmed up a bit.
Mouthfeel is medium. Itís unfiltered so it has some texture to it, but it works well with the flavor. Itís very sweet and slightly spicy. Itís fruity. It makes it extremely drinkable. You could pass this off as juice or kool aid or something. Its super refreshing.
Overall, I enjoyed this a lot. Iím not a super fan of flavored beers, because they usually fall short of expectations. This never mentioned fruit flavor on the label so it was surprising. But this is good, better than expected. Iím a little ashamed that I like it as much as I do. I would certainly have it again, but I probably wouldnít commit to a 6 pack.
