Rockinout (940), Kent, Ohio, USA May 30, 2007 Hazy golden color, light body with an underlying artificial citrus taste. like drinking candy.
fata2683 (62), APO, New York, USA Aug 21, 2008 I had this the other day for a BBQ, and it was a good choice. Very refreshing in the realm of a Hoegaarden with more body. Has a nice wheat flavor that stays until the next sip. AndyReynolds (41), Wilder, Kentucky, USA Aug 20, 2008 12 oz bottle. The pour was a hazy golden-orange with an inch thick white head. The aroma is strong with citrus, oranges really stands out. There is a slight hint og grass or wheat, but the oranges really overwhelm the aroma. Taste was really refreshing and sweet with citrus standing out. Wheat comes out in the finish and lingers in the after-taste. This is an everyday drinker for the hotter months. sleestak (60), Williamston, Michigan, USA Aug 19, 2008 On tap. The pour was a lovely hazy yellow-gold with a sudsy white head. Nose was grassy and citrusy. Taste is over-the-top sweet orange - the Valencia wedge they served on the side was tart by comparison - with little in the way of bitterness. Taste was initially refreshing, but turned fairly cloying by the end. Watery mouthfeel. Really a decent summer beer, but pales in comparison to the more complex hefes and wits. Imaena (221), Portland, Maine, USA Aug 19, 2008 Bottle 08’. Citrus stands out in my notes. Light watery wheat with slight sour after taste. Soapy oragne in the nose and flavor. Fairly boring and uninspiring. Give it a miss. BillKismet (1390), Seattle, Washington, USA Aug 17, 2008 Gorgeous sunset tan pint with a pleasing, full head. Telltale aromas of wheat, orange, and coriander immediately blossom in the nose. Medium-bodied with a refreshing, spritely taste of wheat and orange and coriander. Definitely in the top five percentile for the strength of the orange citrusy notes. Definitely hits the spot on a hot summer day. Deserves a much higher spot in the ratings.
