I’ve had this about two dozen times, both on draft and in bottle. I don’t know why I keep getting it (maybe because it’s fairly common at places that don’t sell good beers). It looks fine in a glass, but the aroma is pungent (skunked) and the taste is just bad. If I was really thirsty, it probably wouldn’t be so bad, but otherwise, no thanks.

Transfer from BA review on 8-12-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a hazy orange copper color with a billowy one finger white head. The head fades rather rapidly leaving some light streaks of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is on the sweeter side with a variety of fruit smells. Orange and lemon are the strongest, but other light fruit aromas of peach and some berry seem to be there as well. Along with the sweet is some spice of coriander and a decent showing of wheat, overall leading to a fruity wit aroma. Taste –The taste begins with a more grainy wheat taste accentuated by a larger amount of mixed fruit. As the taste advances some flavors of yeast come to the tongue along with some spice which all in all combined in the end to leave a sweet and fruity wheat taste on the tongue. Mouthfeel- The body of the beer is on the average side in terms of its thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average as well. Both are quite fitting for the style and make it a nice summer style beer. Overall – An alright brew overall. Nothing super out of the ordinary, but nothing wrong with it either.

Draft sample at Cincy Beerfest 2014 on Fountain Square. Pours a hay light orange-gold with a finger of white head. Notes of orange, lemon, and lime citrus, wheat, bread, berries, sugar, and cereal. There was something kind of artificial about it. It doesn’t have as much Fruity Pebbles character as the Summer Shandy, but it’s similar. Light-bodied, with medium soft carbonation and a sweet, wheaty mouthfeel. Meh.

Bottle. Spicy sweetness in nose, ginger, orange peel, coriander. Cloudy brownish/yellow color (kinda ugly), thin head. Tangy candyish initial, orange pralines, minor wheat notes. Thin body. Weak overall, with a crude spiciness.Tastes artificial, like a soda pop.

Very thin head from the bottle to glass for this sweet beverage. It creates a golden color that allows very little through. The smell, taste, and palate all provide a strong lemon flavor that delights without overpowering. It has a nice refreshing taste, but it turns artificial for each beer beyond the first.

floral, citrus, cloudy, amber, golden, sticky, average carbonation, long finish, A nice beer, more taste than you could expect, most of it is sweet but a nice real aftertaste allows to savor the beer longer. A good surprise and a beer i will definitly recommend

Excellent wheat, fruit, and lemonade flavors, which come through when you smell it. Great to drink on a warm summer day.

Bottle at friends house, didn’t cup this one. Golden color I think; aroma of fruity citrus and some wheat. Taste is pretty much the aroma with more lemon/orange notes and wheat malt sweetness. Light body, moderate-heavy carbonation, sweet with faint coriander spice on finish. Seems like something to pour and add a orange wedge too, nice light flavored wheat ale.

Pours a light golden color with a one-finger white head. Vegetable matter dispersed throughout on a vigorous pour. Banana-lemon taffy nose. Full body with some fine burn from carbonation. Taste approximates the nose. Last third gets somewhat bitter, but the finish yields a banana sweetness.
