4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 Gramtizer (1) - USA - NOV 8, 2007 does not count
One of my favorite wheat beers. The Fruity Pebbles taste is is strong, but it does not taste like a traditional "fruit" beer.

355mL stolen at house party. Into pint glass. Full haze orange Blue Moon pour. Thick detergent white foam. Weak lace. Super sticky sweet lemon drop candy nose. Taste is sticky lemon drop candies, detergent flavoring, soapy, very sugary. Woah. Very artificial tasting. God this brewery just sucks.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 rlaw (826) - Alabama, USA - MAY 28, 2012
Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with a medium-sized white head. Aroma and flavor are lemon, bit of coriander, some banana/wheat, and a fruity note I can’t quite place. Apricot? It’s pretty pronounced but just generic enough that I can’t pin it down. A tad sweet. Mouthfeel is light but creamy. Refreshing. More flavorful than I’m used to from Leinies.

Similar in style to Hoegaarden but a tastier improvement. Exceptional brew.

12 oz bottle. Good summer beer with lots of citrus flavor, but perhaps a little too sweet for more than one or two.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 steve1966 (39) - Florida, USA - MAY 16, 2012
One of the better Leinies beers, got to be fresh and ice cold or taste will suffer. Hints of orange and citrus slight bitter taste goes down pretty good refreshing. Nice style of beer from a brewer that can hit or miss. Hints of Blueberry too

Leinenkugel’s Sunset Wheat has a very thick, cream-colored, fluffy head and a hazy, yellow-orange appearance with tiny streaming bubbles and some lacing left behind. The aroma is strongly sweet, citrus, and bready. Taste is likewise sweet, citrus, candy-like, mild brown bread, spices, and with a touch of bitterness, however, this is minimal. The body is medium, and Leinenkugel’s Sunset Wheat finishes semi-dry, mild, and drinkable. For a flavored beer, which I admittedly don’t care for, it’s very good, and I would say it’s worth a try. Decent summer beer. Light-bodied, bit of lemon/orange citrus with the wheat; crisp. Won’t blow you away, but it’s not supposed to - it’s a relaxing hot weather type of sipper. Nothing wrong with that.

Hazy golden with disappointing foam head. Smells like citrus, taste like lemon and something undefined. I tried, but won't do again. (Houston 201205)

Bottle. Hazy amber beer with a cream head. Spice and wheat aroma. Orange and wheat flavor with light spice. Medium bodied. Refreshing. Orange and wheat linger with light earthiness.
