Little cloudy yellow color, pretty standard. Smells and tastes like water I’ve just done the dishes in.

[Leireken Bio Boekweit Blond/Sarrasin Blonde] Bottle (33cl) from Vinmonopolet, Oslo. Hazy, grayish golden colour. Huge offwhite head, quite good retention. Aroma of grain, yeast, honey, light citrus. Light/medium body, refreshing. Taste is acidic, especially in the finish - a bit like lemon juice mixed with vinegar, but is just sufficiently balanced by some wheaty sweetness and a mild bitterness.

Palme (1437) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 8, 2011
0.33l bottle. Pours a cloudy pale golden body with a small quickly fading off-white head. Aroma is sour and slightly woody with a hint of grapefruit and vinegar. Body is medium, texture slick and sticky and the carbonation is really extreme - almost like a champagne. Sour and lemony flavors, green apple with a tart finish and a thin thin bitter and warming aftertaste. Quite low bitterness, but it makes up for it by being just plain sour all the way through. Yeah, not bad!

Christian (8561) - Odense, DENMARK - MAY 7, 2011
Hazy yellow with a lasting white head. Grainy malt aroma with a bit of yeast and a hint of nuts. Malty flavour with obvious buckwheat notes and a fruity touch. Also had a bottle with a vinegar-y infection - that was actually more exciting to drink

Pinball (8607) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 7, 2011
330 ml bottle, as Leireken Bio Boekweit Blond / Sarrasin Blonde, from Voldby Købmandsgård ABV is 6% Clear yellow, large smooth creamy white head. Dusty crisp malty and very slighlty grassy aroma. flavor is slightly toasted, yellow fruity, malty, end is a little bitter, but not really any good hop balance. Maty sweet, yellow fruity non-bitter, quite forgettable brew.

Bottle. Yeast and fruit in aroma. Unclear plae yellow colour with white head. Sour flavour with an extremely dry grapefruitlike finish. Tha barley malt and the fruit almost disappears in the dryness. The humidity in the old trains must have been extremely high to counterbalance this dryness.
