1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20 crossovert (4565) - Wisconsin, USA - MAY 10, 2013
Scent of berries and dimetap, flavor of grape children’s chewable medicine tablets. Disgusting. Can’t believe it is organic and they miffed it.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Douberd (632) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 2, 2013
250 ml bottle, poured into a shaker glass. ABV 5,2%
Pours a nice orange/red coloured beer, with a slighty pinknsh, big froathy head. Good retention after it loses its initial half size. Medium activity in the glass.
Weird aroma, all those fruits are not mixing that good, at least as far as the smell is concerned. Candy sugar, a kind of medicinal smell, also sort of cooked vegetables.
Taste is even worse, the initial taste brings in mind dishes prepared with lots of ginger and spices. Tastes a bit soapy and sort of chemical as well. Aftertaste is not that bad and that’s because it’s not that strong. Lots of different flavours combined but they are not pleasant flavours.
Thin body, light to medium carbonation. A bit tart on the palate.
Overall, I don’t think I would get this one ever again.
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 dwyerpg (4067) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - APR 22, 2013
Smells like a mix of raspberries and blueberries. A strong purple color with a pink head. This is a slightly less sweet and therefore better version of Lindemans Raspberry. One of the most enjoyable raspberry beers I’ve had.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BartC (708) - Lichtaart, BELGIUM - MAR 25, 2013
Red colored beer with a fruity nose. Slightly sweetish flavor. A bit artificial. Some tartness in the background coming from the spelt malts. Dry sweetish fruity aftertaste.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 jgb9348 (3967) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JAN 3, 2013
Slightly cloudy pink coloured body with a bit of a copper glow and a thin, fast-dying tan head with definite pink tints. Aroma of strawberries, raspberries, sour notes, yeast and a bit of alcohol and grass coming up as well. Medium-bodied; Strong saccharin and aspartame flavours with a definite fruity note and a even more pungent grassy and herbal kick. Aftertaste shows a lot of sugars, a ton of fruit and even more pungent and not-too-pleasing tastes. Overall, not a horrible beer, but not one that I’d get again, even if it were an option! I sampled this 25 cL bottle purchased from Beer Mania in Bruxelles, Belgium on 30-June-2012 for €2,25 (date on red cap of 02-08-2012, lot 1 on side of bottle) sampled at home on the other side of the Atlantic in Washington on 03-January-2013.
0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 Benzai (4345) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - JUL 17, 2012
25cl bottle @ home shared with Thompson. When I took off the cap a part of the glass from the bottle was torn off with it. Best before date did however say November 2012. Hazy orange to amber color, no head at all. Big chunks floating in it. Smell is absolutely ridiculous: pure cleaning acid, vinegar, paint or nailpolish remover. They can’t be serious about this, this has to be infected. No joke: I puked.

2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 GarnotingPete (529) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 11, 2012
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Mora2000 (4042) - McKinney, Texas, USA - JUN 2, 2012
Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a pinkish yellow color with a white head. The aroma is full of cherries with a little bit of bread from the malt. The flavor is more of the same, with the cherries really standing out above the other fruits. There is also some malt character and a hint of funk. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Countbeer (2853) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - MAR 4, 2012
Bottle:
Medium to bigger pretty vast ashy light rose head on top of a murky deep dark pink to almost purple colored beer.
The aroma is mostly dusty red fruit with some hints of herbs, bush and plant hints.
Flavour is dominated by earth with hints of red fruit, some cherries, some strawberries, some berries, hint of bitterness, some sweetness but lesser present than the sweetness.
There is even some hint of sour while there is absolutely nothing sour.
Medium carbo, tingly light spicy mouthfeel, just a medium body and a watery texture.
Bit of a strange mix but pretty decent.
