thewolf (11102) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUL 10, 2010
Bottle, bought @ Havnens Vin & Tobak, Vejle.
Pale red, with a hint of orange. Big, bubbly white head with some pinkish tones. Aroma is sweet, red currants, elderberries, other red berries. Some slight dryness to it. Medium carbonation, fair dry mouthfeel. Flavour is initially quite dusty and dry, then turns medium sweet with some sugary high-notes. Then drier and even a slight tart touch to it in the end. A little bit weird and inharmonious.

Pours pinkish orange witih a decent off-white head and a delightful fruit aroma. There is a refreshing carbonated fruit flavor that is a bit too thin, yet pleasant to drink.

330ml bottle from La Cave à Bulles in Paris, shared with my wife
Appearance: Slightly hazy red grapefruit color with a nice light pink head, some lacing
Aroma: Raspberries and tart cherries
Taste: Smooth mouthfeel. Fruity and some tart bitterness in the finish. Like drinking a fruity dry wine, but better
Very nice beer. Crisp and clean tastes.

Corked bottle.
Pours an average cloudy raspberry orange with a nice, light pink head. Aroma is Sweet Tart candy, raspberry, strawberry, and light blueberry. Flavor is sweet-and-sour-sauce, raspberry candy, and strawberry punch. Tingly and lively on the tongue but only for the first few sips. Interesting and tasty. I like it. (Duh, as if you couldn’t get that from my score.)

The pink with brown tones makes the appearance of this beer enticing. After tasting several ciders all day, this one was the real deal.
