500ml bottle (OPP, Helsinki. German Weeks 2009) Rich grainy aroma, some solventy aspects too. Reddy brown. Big grainy burnt caramelly retronasals. Soft carbonation, some fruity esters too. Finsh nutty and a bit burnt. Nice.

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Brown colour with some slight reddish notes, mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel malty with some slight dark dry fruits, roast as well as burnt sugary notes. Flavour is caramel malts, some roasted notes as well as burnt sugar and some mild grassyness as well. Semimouthdrying

(Bottle at OPP German weeks ’09) Poured brown and clear with quite large white head. Aroma was malty and lightly roasty. Medium bodied palate with quite high carbonation. Tasted of malts, roastedness, hops, bitterness and sweetness. Roasty and bitter aftertaste. The dryness was not so pleasant thing.

Bottle. Amber coloured, clear, persistent, lacy off-white head. Shy sweetish-caramelly nose with a light fruity and metallic tinge. Light to medium sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied but a bit sticky. A bit drier in the sweet-bitter finish with some balancing hops in the aftertaste. Not too great........

(bottle) Clear, amber to copper colour with a medium-sized, off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet and minimal toasted malty nose with traces of caramel and red berries. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Slightly toasted malty and berry-fruity taste with notes of caramel in the wings; moderately sweet malty finish with a light toasty and hoppy bitterness. Not very complex but quaffable Dunkel (10.X.08).

Bottle from Landbierparadies, Nurnberg 6/11/07. Chestnut coloured with a slight tan head. Caramel and nut aroma. Flavour of sweet, doughy malt and red fruit, with a warming alcohol finish. Good.
