omhper (19644) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - NOV 15, 2007
UPDATED: DEC 26, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Nut brown, creamy head. Mildly roasty. Soft and velvetty with medium-full body. Despite the softness it’s solid and malt accented with notes of butter. Fairly low bitterness. A top quality dunkel!

Berlin Trip beer No.3. On draft at the brewpub. Lovely nut brown, dark translucent body with a small creamy white head. Very light bodied. Citrus and malt gives way to tar and slightly bitter finish. No middle to speak of, has a slightly cola-ish quality, hints of caramel.

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2007 One of the beers that I tried while at Brauhaus Lemke in Berlin. This is the one I enjoyed most. One of the best beers I’ve ever had. I wish I could find it in America because I would load up on it!

Draft. Pours dark caramel brown w/medium head. Aroma is hoppy and malty as is taste. Surprisingly hoppy really for a german beer. I don’t know if the flavor combination works, I don’t think I’d want another.

Fukito (751) - Sao Paulo, BRAZIL - MAR 31, 2007
Tap at Lemkes brewpub Mitte, march 07. Aroma is rich malty, toasty, and a bit of coffee. Taste is very very malty, toated malts, peanuts, rich. Very good. MF is medium, not dense for such a saturated flavor. Saturated, clear, bright brown-copper color and a light tan head. A very nice beer, mix of a dunkel and a schwarz.

voota (765) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - SEP 29, 2006
At the brewpub, pours a brilliant clear amber with a creamy yellowish head. Sweet aroma, loads of toffee, caramel and spicy hops. The body is full, and delivers more sweet malts, carapils mostly, as well as a medium bitterness from spicy hops. The finish is crisp and clean.

Rich, dark, heavy malt character with a smokey finish. A nice dunkel to enjoy all year around.

Tap @ the brewpub. Aroma of slighly roasted malts (coffee, chocolate, caramel), slightly smoked. Hazy, amber coloured with a thin, off-white head. Taste is sweet, roasted malts (caramel, chocolate and some coffee) and some smoke. Bit thin body.
