Beau profile de malt grillé, touche de caramel pils avec un fini houblonné. Reste légère et pour un changement pas cet aspect trop liquoreux qu’ont bcp d’autres Dunkel.

Medium white head. Deep dark hazy red body. Roasty dusty malty aroma, very clear and distinct, with chocolatey notes. Dryish dusty roasty malty taste with fruity chocolate pudding/cocoa notes. Thinnish body, slightly watery. Dry dusty milky burnt taste. Nice, and easy to drink. (0.1l taster at the brewpub.)

(Draught at the brewpub, Berlin, 19 July 2010) Reddish brown colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, slightly spicy nose with light toasty malt and caramel. Malty, slightly roasted taste with notes of caramel, dried fruit and spicy hops in the finish. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Nice one.

Full malty taste, lovely mahogny color. Sweet and sour, generous use of both hops and malt.

On tap at the brewpub 27/09/09. Deep, ruddy amber with a decent off-white head. Sweet aroma of fruit and toffee. Flavour had plenty of caramel, doughy malts and a sweet finish. Ok.

Draft at brewpub. Nice copper hue with stable head. Clean balanced malt aroma, has a nicely husky flavor, just the right amount. Something is American about this one, can’t quite place why. Tastes like corporate brewpub fare. Nice for what it is.

Draught at the brewpub. Deep brown coloured. Roasty and malty. Slightly sweet malty flavour with some chocolate notes. Soft mouthfeel.

Malty aroma with notes of strawberryjam(?).
Smooth and dry with an almost IPA-ish flavour; nutty, grassy and hoppy.

Beer No. 36 on my tour through Austria, Germany and Denmark.
Draught at the brewpub. Pale amber coloured, small off-white head, caramelish nose. Sweet malty, caramel and mild nutty with notes of hops in the finish. Pretty ordinary and also watery.

Pours copper with a beige head. Aroma is roasted caramel and fruity notes. Flavour follows the nose. Light bitter.
